Tina’s Tails Dog Grooming is now closed for the Christmas period, I will be back on January 2nd 2024.

I would like to say a huge thank you for your continued loyalty, kindness and most importantly for trusting me with your precious fur babies. I feel so lucky to be able to spend time with such wonderful dogs.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.

Looking forward to seeing you all in 2024!!

Finally I’m off for a much needed holiday, therefore, Tina’s Tails Dog Grooming will be closed until Tuesday 30th May.

I’d be very grateful if you would refrain from contacting me until I return to work so I may enjoy the much needed downtime.

Do you have a nervous dog??
Badger here was also nervous when he came in! But you wouldn't guess so when looking at this confident gaze 😎🖤

Badgers owner disclosed her concern when booking in her session that Badger is quite a nervous dog and thought maybe we wouldn't be able to convince him photos are for cool boys!

Just check out this review from his mum! "Paige was absolutely wonderful during a recent pet portrait session at her studio in Bath.
She was very relaxed around our boys and allowed them time to explore and adjust to their surroundings. She chatted to us throughout, putting us at ease and worked wonders with our border terriers. They took to Paige, who has a naturally warm and gentle way with animals. I would highly recommend Paige as your photographer- our session was faultless and enjoyable."

When a nervous dog enters a new space, you want to ignore them, avoid eye contact, avoid trying to approach them or coax them to you. Just let them sniff around and get comfortable. Then, with the help of some treats discretely and strategically thrown around your feet you can start introducing yourself to them. Badger was very receptive to calm energy and space to be himself. We kept the session short and sweet, only getting the images we really wanted, and then left it on a high note for him. Letting him leave while it was all still a positive experience.
