Hello everybody! Very busy week, but with some super cats! I am all ready for a holiday to set me up for the summer (and to celebrate another year on the planet 😱🤣🤣. Trying hard not to count the wrinkles, lol! Roy is coming a day later as we are worried about Jess in the heat, and he can have fans on 24 7 and air the house before our house sitter arrives. Soooo, I will check my phone once a day and get back to you if necessary. Have a great week all. I fully intend to! 🥳🧘‍♀️🎂🎂🎂H xx

Morning Cat Lovers! Why, I hear you ask, are Socks and Edith looking so worried? Well, it's because I am FULLY BOOKED for June, July and August so if their Mum and Dad fancy an impromptu break, I am not going to be able to catsit them! Still a bit of room in September for once a day cats ... Also, with the weather warming up there has been a lot of fur balls/cat sick this week: not a problem for me but it's not nice for the cats: can you please GROOM your cats thoroughly before going away? They will thank you for it! 😻❤️

Highlight of the last week has been popping over to Tonbridge to see the majestic Tiggi, who I helped rehome to her present parents in 2016. Almost 18, and with only one tooth, it was wonderful to see her imperial majesty again! Great few days relaxing on my house sit (but where did the sun go??) and now hard at it, nipping back to Battle for some fabulous cats (it's not far, and two of my special boys are on. Couldn't miss them ❤️) Having a great weekend, and may the coming week be lovely for all of us! ###

Off on a bus man's holiday on Tuesday to a lovely oast house with two even lovelier cats! Phone will be off a lot of the first week, so if you need to contact me pl email [email protected] . Second week I am out and about with cats (one of my favourite cats is on and I cannot refuse. Love him too much! ). second photo remind you of a certain Italian someone?? Have a lovely week all! Xx

Summer is here! (She says, hopefully 🤞🤞) And with it, some stunning cats! Many of my cat sitting clients are indoor cats or I get them in at night. If you have an older or frail cat, PLEASE keep them in at night: last week was heartbreaking. One of my furry clients who normally goes out at night was attacked and eaten by a fox. 😭😭😭 I love foxes, but this does happen, so please do your best to keep your furries safe. Happy 72nd Birthday to my wonderful husband, Roy Hyde! Many of you from our Tunbridge Wells days will remember him as a devoted cat sitter and cat lover. He loves the cats even more than I do (if that's possible!). I wore him out with cat sitting, and he now is enjoying his retirement as a cricket historian, bowls player, and cat dad to the Furry Th*****me. He is simply the nicest person I know. Here he is with his sidekick, our Rosie, I would never ask him to choose between us! 🤣🤣🤣Have a lovely week all! Xx

Oh no! I hear you say! Has Helen gone over to the dark side and started dog sitting too?! Most definitely NOT! Am just returning from a lovely couple of days in Malvern where I fell in love
with two golden retrievers! Yet they were nothing in comparison to some great cats over the last couple of weeks Angus the naughty Devon Rex had me in peals of laughter when he jumped on my shoulders while I was having a ti**le! Lemmy the Siamese is named after the late lead singer of Motorhead (I will say no more!) and darling Layla the cream Siamese was just a dream! Very busy few weeks coming up and the Summer is fully booked in parts: pl l et me know if you need me ASAP! Have a great week all ! Now just to brush the dog hair off me! 🤣🤣🤣 ###

Spring is here! Yay! I don't know about you, but I have found it a hard, cold winter. Thank heavens for the cats: cuddly, gorgeous and full of love! They look into my eyes and seem to read my soul, bless them. The cats and I are looking forward to warmer weather and hope you all have a lovely, sunny week! ###

Best job in the world, yes, even with a heavy cold 😢😻. You know what you get with Happy Cats Cat Sitting: someone who is devoted to your cat and who will do her utmost to make them happy! And that means spending TIME with your cats: not just dumping food and clearing the litter tray. On two visits a day your cats will get a MINIMUM of 30 minutes per visit (and frankly often longer!) and on once a day a MINIMUM of 45 minutes (more likely an hour tbh). So I get VERY angry when a client tells me that they used someone last summer who stayed for FOUR, yes 4, minutes as captured on the ring doorbell. And wasn't very happy to be told off about it. This is NOT how I operate. Which may explain why I am often fully booked? With me, your cats come first and have done for the past 18 years. Have a great week all! H X yearsacatsitter
