More lovely cats and a couple of important announcements! 1. Due to my having been messed around 😭 I have had to amend my cancellation policy: with immediate effect from April to the end of October please give two weeks cancellation notice. November to end of March (with the exception of half term and 24th Dec to 4th January) only 5 days cancellation is required. Tx for understanding! 2. I am off on holiday Thursday 9th October to Friday 17th inc. I won't reply to messages unless very urgent: it's been a happy but long and at times stressful summer! See you when I get back! Long time, no post! Sorry: very, very busy and yes, fully booked for September and October! Have fallen in love AT LEAST twice a week: you know me 🤣🤣. Best cat in a long time is Arthur, given up, age 5 to Celia Hammond. Why?? He is adorable and gives the best smooches ever! He had stiff competition from Wynter and Sapphire, two equally cuddly baby Raggies, and Penny, the Maria Callas of the cat world! Wouldn't you love my job? Best job in the world! Morning! Well, with two cats on meds (the much loved Maisie-moo and Yoda, aka Yo) it could have been a week of medicinal mayhem, but it's been a week of medicinal miracles! Yay! Both cats have taken their meds brilliantly 👏 🎉🎊🌟 (special tx to Yoda for playing ball!)! V happy to give meds (with 18 years experience, I have lots of tricks) and even happier to discover a new cat diabetes wonder drug! It's for cats who have NEVER had insulin, and it is a game changer. Can't give you the name as that would be advertising, but if your cat is suddenly diagnosed as diabetic, do pl ask your vet if it would be suitable. No jabs, just once a day on a teeeeeny bit of food. Maisie is transformed! And on that joyous note, have a good week everyone! ###

It's cooler today in East Sussex (yay! It was soooo hot Weds to Friday!). If there's one thing guaranteed to make the hot weather bearable, it's the cuteness of cats and there are some real cuties this week, and, all of them rescue cats. You know my mantra: please adopt, don't shop, and when you get cuties such as these, why would you want to do anything else?? 🥰🥰😻 Meet Nancy, Freddie and finally some of the oldies but goodies at at Brede where I spend some of my happiest hours once a fortnight! Hello everybody! Very busy week, but with some super cats! I am all ready for a holiday to set me up for the summer (and to celebrate another year on the planet 😱🤣🤣. Trying hard not to count the wrinkles, lol! Roy is coming a day later as we are worried about Jess in the heat, and he can have fans on 24 7 and air the house before our house sitter arrives. Morning Cat Lovers! Why, I hear you ask, are Socks and Edith looking so worried? Well, it's because I am FULLY BOOKED for June, July and August so if their Mum and Dad fancy an impromptu break, I am not going to be able to catsit them! Still a bit of room in September for once a day cats ... Also, with the weather warming up there has been a lot of fur balls/cat sick this week: not a problem for me but it's not nice for the cats: can you please GROOM your cats thoroughly before going away? They will thank you for it! 😻❤️

Highlight of the last week has been popping over to Tonbridge to see the majestic Tiggi, who I helped rehome to her present parents in 2016. Almost 18, and with only one tooth, it was wonderful to see her imperial majesty again! Great few days relaxing on my house sit (but where did the sun go??) and now hard at it, nipping back to Battle for some fabulous cats (it's not far, and two of my special boys are on. Couldn't miss them ❤️) Having a great weekend, and may the coming week be lovely for all of us! ###

Summer is here! (She says, hopefully 🤞🤞) And with it, some stunning cats! Many of my cat sitting clients are indoor cats or I get them in at night. If you have an older or frail cat, PLEASE keep them in at night: last week was heartbreaking. One of my furry clients who normally goes out at night was attacked and eaten by a fox. 😭😭😭 I love foxes, but this does happen, so please do your best to keep your furries safe. On a happier note, the sun is out: have a lovely week all! Helen xx
