A lovely surprise wreath was provided by St Leonards Florist for a last minute burial earlier this month, the family were overwhelmed by their friends stunning words & spontaneity. A very emotional weekend here at Bluebell Woods. Our thoughts go out to both families grieving their losses. Molly & Jackson joined our natural haven for their final resting places on Sunday. The sunshine shone down beautifully as Molly joined her best friend Dexter who we laid to rest last year. 🌞

☀️With temperature set to soar this week here are some helpful tips to keep everyone safe 😎

Pets don't sweat the same way humans do and can quickly become overheated. Higher temperatures also bring higher risks for our furry companions with an increased chance of injuries and heatstroke.

✅️ Always ensure your pet has access to a cool shaded area and fresh water 💧

🐾 Walk your pets either first thing in the morning or late evening🌡️

⭐️ Remember no dog has ever died from missing one walk 🐕

🚗 Avoid car journeys and never leave them in a hot car unattended ❌️

🐰 Ensure small furries are out of the direct sun and have plenty of water 🐹

✋️ Place your hand on the pavement If it's too hot for you its definitely too hot for them 🐾

🐈‍⬛️ Keep cats indoors during the midday sun 🌡

⚠️If your pet is showing signs of heatstroke visit your vet immediately

❌️Some signs of heatstroke:
Excessively panting
Bright red gums
Collapsed
Vomiting / diarrhoea

We will always be shocked of the lack of knowledge some owners have in this heat. We beg all our fellow animal owners out there, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep your dogs home & cool in this heat.
Your dog won’t die from missing a walk, they will from heatstroke.
