With the weather getting colder, please see below for some tips about looking after your pets in the cooler temperatures!
❄️Keep dogs away from frozen ponds and lakes as they may break under their weight
❄️Consider a special coat or jumper to keep dogs warm- particularly in elderly dogs
❄️If walking in the dark, wear reflective clothing and think about a reflective collar or light for your dogs collar
❄️In snowy weather keep dogs on leads as holes and deep patches can be covered by snow
❄️Ensure pets microchip information is up to date and that dogs have an up to date ID tag
❄️If snowing, snow can become impacted on pets paws, which can be uncomfortable
❄️Be aware antifreeze can be poisonous to pets, wash pets paws thoroughly after spending time outside
❄️Ensure cats bedding is away from draughts and stays warm and dry
❄️Check under your cars for sleeping cats before setting off
❄️Outdoor pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs need extra bedding for warmth, keep their home protected with blankets or covers- ensure they still have appropriate ventilation!

If you're passionate about pets and would love to work with animals, this is the job for you!

We need a highly motivated, caring person with exceptional customer service skills to join our wonderful reception team! You need to be able to work under pressure and use initiative but you'll be rewarded with the pleasure of all our furry friends that visit our practice!

The position will be full time with a share of the evening shifts that finish at 7pm and Saturday mornings 8-12.
