Skye visited the dog spa for a bit of TLC on those pearly whites. This absolute sweetheart is a pro at having her teeth brushed, so her first ever ultrasonic clean was a breeze for her 👌🏻🦷✨️. Well done goodest girl.

Lovely girl, Piper, started her ultrasonic teeth cleaning journey recently. 🦷✨️

She was a little anxious at the beginning, but she gained trust in me quickly and got on so brilliantly. But let's be honest, the first time results speak for themselves. Well done, Piper - what a star! ⭐️

I QUIT!

✨ A year ago today, I never thought I’d be here…

I was stuck in a job that drained me. I’d wake up already dreading the day, counting down the hours until it was over.

I told myself for too long that it was “safe and secure”, but I knew it wasn’t serving me.

I opened the dog salon part-time - _whilst continuing to work full-time in my employed role as a Quantity Surveying Technician_ - which meant working long days, 6 days per week. I knew this wasn't going to be sustainable for a long period of time, so I took the _safe_ option and reduced contracted hours to help create a better balance. After 6 months of working in two roles (being employed and trying to build a business), the day I decided to leave my job was exciting – I felt ready. I had no guarantee it would work out, but I had a vision of something better. Something mine.

Today, I wake up happy and excited to start my day. I spend my working days doing what I love - I’ve got the most amazing customers (human and furry), and every day I’m building a life I’m proud of. 🐾✂️

If you’re stuck in something that doesn’t bring you joy… this is your sign to believe in yourself and take that first step. When you decide to do something, crunch the numbers, make a plan, and go all in. Trust that you can do anything you commit yourself to.

Sweet girl, Saskia, visited the dog spa today for her first ultrasonic teeth cleaning session. Patience is key - I hope to help build up trust and confidence with this nervous girl. She was very brave for her first time, and I look forward to making progress as we get to know each other 💖.
