We at Back on Track are one of � UK’s leading equine Retirement & Rehabilitation livery. We specialize in giving full care for your horse or pony with organic grazing at our Farm on the Norfolk/Suffolk border .We also now have our paddock paradise -Track livery (we have added to our many livery options ) that runs approx 1 mile round our farm with all horse safe fencing with so many places to loa

When you are no longer able to ride but do not want the trouble of loaning out your horse or losing ownershipor your horse needs rehabilitation from injury or lami we can provide you with a choice of different livery plans . Oldies - Flo had a clip and bath and under the heat lamp
Flo is in her 30’s although she doesn’t have Cushing her long coat was making her sweat but sadly she had to have rugs on as she looses so much weight in winter She has dental problems that can’t be fixed 🥲

So we hate clipping oldies they need weight but now we can adjust rugs with out her sweating which was causing heat rash scabs

So this was a reset !
And she loved being clipped - one itchy horsey now happy
She lives out so it’s important to make sure she was 110% dry after her medicated shampoo so night in under the solarium for a couple of hours

🌧️ Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to share some difficult news. It’s going to be quiet on this page for the foreseeable future, as my world has been turned upside down. My mum has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and we’ve been given just weeks together.

While I’ll still be around behind the scenes, I need to step back to cherish every moment with my incredible mum. She has been my rock, especially after losing my dad when I was just 20. My heart feels shattered into a thousand pieces right now.

The horses are my life, and I’m grateful to my amazing grooms Ebony, and the rest of my team plus my incredible hubby who is keeping my little ones happy while I’m not at home and just being the “glue” for my family as always !!All of these lot will be taking care of the day-to-day chores. I’ll still be doing my part, but this next journey is one I never imagined I’d have to face.

Please bear with me as I navigate this painful time. Your understanding and support mean the world to me. 💔

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

Our new extension track is officially up! 🎉 Wisper and Boris are happily grazing it down, getting it ready to be the geldings' exclusive track this spring. 🐴💚

We've decided to create separate tracks for mares and geldings due mainly to a few long-standing liveries ( geldings ) getting a bit too "fruity" 😂 They definitely need a grass-free area but since they can't resist mounting and squabbling over our spicy mares! 🙈separate tracks it is ! ( we will see how it goes …)

The best part? This new setup gives us the flexibility to expand into one huge track with gates and bridges or 2 huge separate tracks !plus my tiered step area coming soon! 🚧🌿and a few others surprises for the horses too !

Can’t wait to see how everyone enjoys the new space! 🥳🐎💖

I’d like to address a situation that happened on my page yesterday ( I never do this I normally I just block or ignore ) but this wasn’t about me it was about a 21 year old ! ( my groom)
This really upset me yesterday - there was a comment from a lady who should of none better but still decided to write a comment about my groom - on a page advertising her new business

In a world where it’s so easy to hide behind your screen and spurt unkind comments with no back story? Please think first !!!!!!!
It’s one persons version of events ! And it was clearly written to harm her reputation and is considered slander ! Cruel and mean
The truth around said comment - I’m not going into as it’s all lies anyway !

But !!!! Why is social media so toxic - is it full of haters / jealous people ? STAY IN YOUR OWN LANE !
Or like my nanny would say “ if you haven’t got anything nice to say then zip it 🤫 “

Surly we should big people up and be happy for them starting out at the young age of 21 your own business is tough !
Ebony looks after 35 horses here day in day out with my team ! She spots colics , lamness , when they are just off ? She stays late to see to I’ll horses , she drives to the tack shop to get feed if we run out , she organises staff ? Feeds the pigs , chickens - looked after the whole place when I was poorly or on holiday !

I’ve know ebony over 4 years and trust her completely !
Plus I pay her way above minimum wage , also i pay for her to have sports back massages , and osteo appointments - I look after her she looks after me
That’s how it works , is it not ? I won’t have a bad thing said about her !!

If you pay your staff look after your staff they look after you? It’s a 2 way deal ! No one works for free ?!
Or guess what ? They don’t go back ? Turn up ? Etc

Rant over - Ebony has had a few enquiries already and her livery spaces will fill up quick !

Exciting News!

In 2025, our yard manager, Ebony, will be offering 2 full livery spaces right here at our beautiful facility! Even though I am currently at full capacity, Ebony has the time and expertise to take on two additional horses.( plus she’s half my age lol ) she’s desperately wanted to run her own livery yard - so this way Its a win win ! Best of both !

We provide a range of livery options, including:

- Boot Camp
- Rehabilitation Livery
- Hunting Livery
- Full Livery
- Backing and Starting Horses Livery

Ebony is a lightweight rider, capable of riding ponies from 12 hh up to 17 hh. Our yard offers a variety of options for your horse, including track systems, paddocks, and grass-free environments. Horses will have access to stables at night, and we provide organic hay, straw, or shavings for bedding.

Our peaceful yard is equipped with CCTV for added security and is situated within our retirement center, ensuring a calm atmosphere for your equine companions.

Ebony has her own experienced staff who can handle a variety of horses. The minimum livery commitment is 3 months. She holds a Level 3 qualification in horse care and is currently pursuing certification in rehabilitation. With her extensive experience and the wonderful environment of our farm, your hoEbony Grint in great hands!

🌟✨ As we prepare to bid farewell to 2024 and welcome in 2025, I wanted to take a moment for reflection before we’re all swept up in the “look how far we’ve come” posts. This year has been a true rollercoaster for me, filled with a whirlwind of emotions and experiences. 🎢

Now, rollercoasters aren’t inherently bad — people flock to theme parks for that thrill! So, let me clarify: I’m not here to say that this year was horrible. It’s been a mix of challenges and triumphs. My family has faced some tough times, but we’re pushing through together, and that resilience is something I cherish. 💪❤️

On the professional side, this year has also seen the bittersweet cycle of welcoming new horses into our lives while saying goodbye to some beloved friends. Each loss is heart-wrenching, but I find comfort in knowing that each horse leaves a lasting imprint on my heart. Like the ancient Japanese art of kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold, my heart is mended with the beautiful memories of those who’ve come and gone, forever running free inside of me. 🐴❤️

On a positive note, our business has continued to grow! We’re excited about the new extension of our track, soon to open, which will help us better accommodate our spirited geldings and flirty mares. Plus, we had a bumper hay crop this year, and the weather was good to us in late summer, allowing us to plant more hay fields that are now sprouting up. We’re thrilled to be offering some of our organic hay for sale! 🌾🌼

I’m also overjoyed to welcome back an old friend to our team, Ebony, who I had the pleasure of training years ago. Initially, she came back just to lend a hand, but I couldn’t let her go! Now she’s practically part of the furniture, here five days a week and bringing a wonderful energy to our yard. 🥰 along with my other wonderful grooms - Natasha, Courtney , Ava ,Louise , Grace my sister and my hubby ! I’d like to keep this team forever please 🙏

Finding the right team has always been a challenge, but I’ve learned that sometimes it’s about recognizing the weak links and making the changes necessary for a positive and happy environment. The lesson I’ve taken away this year is that not everyone who’s around is there for the right reasons; “wolves in sheep’s clothing” springs to mind, and that’s okay. It’s all part of the journey.

So, as we turn the page to a new year, I’m filled with hope and excitement for what’s to come. Here’s to new beginnings, lessons learned, and the beautiful memories we’ll create in 2025! 🎉💖
