We at Back on Track are one of � UK’s leading equine Retirement & Rehabilitation livery. We specialize in giving full care for your horse or pony with organic grazing at our Farm on the Norfolk/Suffolk border .We also now have our paddock paradise -Track livery (we have added to our many livery options ) that runs approx 1 mile round our farm with all horse safe fencing with so many places to loa
f , play , roll in our sand pit or climb the mound ( horse playground ) we have cctv cameras and automatic drinkers ALL Set in the quiet Norfolk countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty, we provide a relaxing and stress free environment for your horse. When you are no longer able to ride but do not want the trouble of loaning out your horse or losing ownershipor your horse needs rehabilitation from injury or lami we can provide you with a choice of different livery plans . Lots of references available from our vets / farriers past and present liveries too

Jonny and Skye ready for the rain ☔️ we are expecting a crazy amount from 3am !! ( I don’t normally rug In August ever ! )
But Skye is full clipped and 29 years young and Jonny is fine skinned Tb who hates the rain. ☔️
And it’s already been crazy windy week !

Doug has very very bad sweet itch and suffers badly with it - but our track system and keeping off the grass is helping nearly 3 weeks since he arrived and - we have found this helped sweet itch horses before !
Grass definitely seems to trigger it or make it worse ?
Doug skin is clearing up and healing ! And he isn’t attacking his skin like he was a few weeks ago !

Welcome Daisy 🌼
This beautiful Spanish 🇪🇸 mare has come to live on our tracks , she is grass sensitive and Ems - so she will be starting her track journey in under 2weeks !
She’s settling in nicely and is in our introduction faze so will be in this paddock for a few days
Dazy is ridden too by her owner Tamsin
Yes we are allowing a ridden track livery 🙂

Skye - 28 - Cushings / ems pony - hasn’t lost her coat so I gave up and clipped it off today and bathed her ! She thanked us for it by rolling in a nice shavings bed 😉 - she feels / looks so much better - she came to us underweight as she is tricky to manage with getting lami too -
She is in during day out at night to manage her cushings and Ems along with her meds
She isn’t on our track system we manage her differently as wouldn’t stand up to track life at the minute:)

Being pregnant in a heat wave 🤪🤪 I remember it too well !! Poor Winny !
We have fans on cooling mats - water sprays !!

She has a lot of pups in there - we had another scan a few weeks ago and they estimate 8-12 !!! 😳😳😳😳
So anyone Interested message me 🙂
I will be selling them if all goes well 🤞 but to only good homes or I’ll keep them all for my self il move and all the pups and dogs to the barn !! And hide 🙈 🤫 don’t tell farmer Tom!
She is the kindest dog ever and so is the dad of the bumps !!

He is one of my new Favourites - sssh shouldn’t have favourites- but then I say that to every horses here ! Ha !
He is so bloody friendly - keeps seeking me out !

Rug room sort out 😝✅One pot of black board paint 🎨 ✅pack of coloured chalk pens 🖊️ ✅Staff plied with sausage and bri baguettes 🥖 ( and paid over time to stay and help ! ) Tada 🎉!!! This is such a good idea of Ginas !! So we can write horses names but then can rub them out ! Previous staff had written and striked through names many times on the wood shelves and it had got Hella confusing 🫤 With a Clean 🧼 and sort out ! All horses have a itinerary of all their belongs in their cubby hole / and on my iPad 🙂 It looks smart a extra 34 rugs to sell or charity and now we have lots more roomThank Ebony Grint for helping for 5 long hours !! Was hard work gurrrrl!! So enjoyed my shower after !! Yuk spider and their webs !!

Yes we feed a few all year round ?
Especially the old old ones or my super young ones
Flo is having her build up feed at 30 with 4 fractured teeth ( can’t be removed )
Flo has an awesome mix of Trinity Consultants potions and powders !
Currently on 300g of golden meal
P45 and another liquid - plus her mash
Trying to build her up as much as poss before winter
Lettie is also 30 ( white blaze ) and is on linseed and blue chip veteran light with chaff
My big fat just 4 year old is on her balancer and salt and vit e

Given up on nose feed bags they break and are a pain to wash !
So it’s back up my old favourite way - cheap as chips 🙂 plus can take more wet feed
Awesome to feed in big groups as they run off with their bucket if another muncher comes !

Ebony has begun working with Orca, focusing on fitness and taking her out on hacks to help rebuild her topline. Previously, our apprentice was riding Orca, but since she left, Orca's fitness levels have declined. Now, my sister and Ebony, both with years of experience, are getting Orca back into shape, ensuring she is in excellent hands. Orca's owner wants her to be ridden regularly, so we are committed to maintaining this routine. Orca enjoys her hacks and the tender loving care of hot cloth baths after exercise, making this a win-win situation for everyone involved. 🐴 ❤️ 🐴 Video of her coming to my house at lunch time 😜

Feeling the pinch when all our rehab paddocks are full and we get hit with a check ligament injury 😔 Sometimes, despite our best efforts, box rest is the only option. But knowing how Boo is bonded to Pearl, we had to think outside the box (literally!). So, we've created a tiny paddock within a big paddock 🐴💔 It’s not ideal, and it’s certainly not what we’d wish for, but keeping their spirits up and ensuring they have each other’s company is crucial.
