It doesn’t get much cuter than golden doodle puppy paddy! What a gorgeous boy and so well behaved on his first trip to the groomers.

It is so important to get puppy’s of all breeds (including short haired breeds!) to the groomers for their first experience as early as possible. Even if you think they don’t need it yet this will set them up best for creating a dog which is relaxed and happy at the groomers.

🐾 The lovely Oscar the border terrier came to see us yesterday for a much needed hand strip.
🐾 Hand stripping is a skill which requires specialist training. I’m proud to say that all our groomers at Groomtastic offer this service.
🐾 Oscar is an older boy and hand-stripping him throughout his life has kept his coat true to type being coarse and rich in colour, not to mention far more waterproof than a clipped coat!

Oral hygiene in our pets is so so important to maintain from a young age.
Regular teeth cleaning should be carried out throughout your dogs life to prevent plaque and tar tar, oral diseases and the need for veterinary interventions later in life.

⭐️ An exciting opportunity has come available at Groomtastic dog spa to start your career in dog grooming in the best way possible. Work and learn along side an experienced, award winning dog groomer.

⭐️We are once again ready to expand and welcome a fun and friendly individual who has a passion for dogs and is ready to learn a real career.

Duties will include but are not limited to -

⭐️ Bathing, drying and prepping dogs
⭐️ Dealing with clients, bookings and phone calls

Welcome 2024 💫

I am so grateful for another year ahead at Groomtastic with some exciting new plans coming very soon! A little hint… 🦷 🧼 🙊

Anyway I will save that for another post but I just wanted to thank everyone once again for the continued support.

I kicked off the year grooming my own boy Harley before the working week starts tomorrow. Lots of you may have seen last year he underwent a life threatening surgery and subsequently lives life with just one lung now. We didn’t expect him to still be here but I hope you’ll agree that he’s looking brilliant and is certainly feeling good too 💝

On a more solemn note, just a reminder that our price increase is now in place. Thankyou again everyone for being so understanding as always.
