What an amazing achievement from Tom McEwen, Ros Canter Eventing and Laura Collett Eventing!!! An absolute masterclass in horsemanship from all three riders. Happy horses and happy riders performing at their best! 🥳

Team GB are the only team to complete on double figures on 91.3!!! Massive well done!

Congratulations also to Silver medal winners France (103.6) and Japan in Bronze on 115.8.

Rains stopped play today.The horses just dont work as well in the rain for saddle fits or checks and we just cant do our best job if the horses arn't working to their best ability, We will never comprise the horse working well. It couldn’t be easier to look after your T8 Thorowgood saddle

There are many reasons a Thorowgood saddle makes an excellent choice for a first-time horse owner, so it follows that not all our Thorowgood customer will know how to look after their new purchase. Fortunately, being easy to care for is just one benefit of our popular models.


1️⃣ . Wipe down the non-leather sections (skirt, flap and panels) with warm water and a cloth. A mild detergent can be used to remove stubborn dirt. Remember to clean all surfaces.

2️⃣. If the saddle has leather stirrup straps, take care NOT to apply saddle soap to the surface which comes into contact with the saddle flap.

3️⃣Apply Rapide Leathergel to the leather parts of the saddle (seat and knee rolls) with a clean, dry cloth.

Great day at the office. Congratulations to Anna Choma, our trainee! I am delighted to announce that she has passed The Society of Master Saddlers saddle fitting exam. So now she is an SMS Qualifed Saddle Fitter.

Many of you have already met her, but we will begin to send her out on the road as an expansion of our business.

Anna has been working alongside us for the last couple of years and is a Qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist in her own right.

As you can see, we are lucky to have such a huge range of saddle brands to work with which makes the job easier.
