Female cats can be spade from 6 months old and as long as they weigh over 2kg, please get your female and male cats neutered and microchipped to stop any unwanted pregnancies accuring. Also it is now a legal requirement to have your cat microchipped.
Feel free to call the practice to ask more questions on neutering and microchipping for your cat. If you’re on the MHP you will recieve 10% discount on neutering and microchipping is also included as part of the plan 😃 ❤️ 🐾

We have had a lovely female lurcher (possibly saluki cross) handed into us, found in Wootton.

Does have a microchip but contact number not in service and addressed to Northern Ireland.

We will be contacting the dog warden, if anyone knows of someone missing this type of dog please let us know.
Photo proof will be needed, we will not hand her over without this.

Meet our new veterinary surgeon Kate. At the moment she is working at the practice on Tuesdays every week. Kate graduated as a veterinary surgeon in 2003 in Australia and she moved to the UK last year.
Kate had cuddles with Nik nik and Mi mi this morning as they were in for their kitten checks on the Medivet health care plan. Kate has 5 cats of her own at home that she bought with her from Hong Kong.

Here's a heart warming story to finish off the year...

Odie was rushed into us back in October as he seemed to have had a collision with a vehicle.

Poor Odie was in bad shape with an obvious fractured jaw. He went to our hospital and had a CT scan which revealed not only did he have a fractured jaw but multiple skull fractures.

Odie had a long stay in hospital after having his jaw wired and was being fed through a feeding tube.

But after a long recovery, lots of medication and vet visits and lots and lots of TLC from his wonderful family, he came back to us to have his wire removed and he's doing amazing!

So here is the wonderful Odie, with his much deserved Braveheart award!

Bruce and alan was in for their puppy and kitten vaccinations this morning. Both of these were included on the MHP that they are both on. The Medivet health care plan is a monthly fee for a year that is priced on the weight bracket of the breed of dog. The MHP also includes microchipping, vaccinations, flea and worm treatment, puppy/kitten check every month until your pet is 6 months old. Includes 6 month health checks and 10% off consultations and products which also includes 10% off operations and neutering and 15% off dentals.
Feel free to ask about our plans when registering your new pet. Plans also available for existing clients 😃
