One of my lovely liveries thats travels a very long way to my yard has found somewhere closer to home so therefore I have a stable coming available from 1st December for part/full 5/7 day livery at Backnoe End Equestrian Centre in Thurleigh, Beds.

Here at SHB Livery we have created a very chilled and peaceful environment for both horses and owners. We welcome all shapes and sizes from retired cobs to dressage superstars!

The welfare and happiness of the horses is paramount, but we also recognise that it should absolutely be like that for owners too. We are a fun, supportive, non-judgemental bunch of ladies that treat each other like family. If you think you could fit into our little slice of Heaven please do get in touch ☺️

Facilities include:

• 12x12 wooden boxes
• All year herd/paired turnout
• 20x60 floodlit arena with fab surface
• Full course of Jump for Joy showjumps
• XC fences
• Theraplate
• Secure tack room
• CCTV
• Tea room
• Trailer/horsebox parking
• Incredible hacking

It’s nearly time to say goodbye to Louis and Zig as their 6 month holiday with us is coming to an end and they return home at the end of August 😢. I therefore have 2 stables coming available from 1st September for part/full 5/7 day livery at Backnoe End Equestrian Centre in Thurleigh, Beds.

So today’s school report…..hmm! MJ warmed up quite nicely but other competitors were saying their horses were spooking at pretty much nothing during their tests so of course so did she, several times 🙄. She was dicking about so much in some of the corners which eventually threw me off and I went wrong which cost us 2 marks. And she decided to be all fancy pants and did a beautiful flying change when we were supposed to change the leg through trot over X 😂. I was surprised to see I got the red ribbon - turns out I was the only entry in the Novice, however I was absolutely elated when I saw our score - 70.71% - our highest ever!! That made me feel better about being the only entry as with a score like how could I not be happy? The bad bits were obviously not bad enough to affect the overall score and is very encouraging to think if I hadn’t made a mistake and she hadn’t been difficult at times we would have been on for nearer 75%. Maybe one day! Anyway David Breed suggested bubbles tonight to celebrate my PB and I need no excuse to have a drink! It’s strange to feel like it was not our best test, yet it was on paper which I guess is what counts in the dressage game. And the main thing is it’s always nice to go out and enjoy my beautiful sassy mare whatever the outcome. Couldn’t do this without my fab trainer Matthew Cox. Had a brilliant cross country lesson with the fabulous Jane Dawson today! MJ and I had so much fun and it’s nice to get back on it as for various reasons it’s been almost 2 years since we last did it. Its been a tough 3 years on and off with her but I feel like there’s no stopping us now 😊🙌🏻

Had a fabulous time today at Fancy footwork poles and grids. MJ was on good form with a fair bit of sass thrown in to keep me on my toes! Looking forward to seeing the videos and professional photographs. Went full on matchy matchy today in Eskadron Soft Peach 🍑 🙌🏻😎👀
