Happy 'Find Me a Home' Friday!

Meet Iggy🐾, a gorgeous lad still looking for his forever home!

This week's post: "Iggy is still looking for someone special in his life. [He is] about 3 years old, and up until now only been a chain dog. Iggy is cat, dog, and child friendly. He walks beautifully on the lead, he loves going in the car. Such a good boy that will need very little training. He loves sausages and we use them to get what we want, he has an excellent recall when sausages are involved."

August's post: "Darling Iggy, until 1 month ago he was a chain dog. Unlike some, it was a running chain. He did have shelter, food, and he came off the chain from time to time, and this shows. He is such a happy boy around everybody, he loves the children next door especially if they are eating and leave him a crumb trail. He is currently living with our cats and lots of other dogs. He is small/medium only about 2 to 3 years old, he is neutered he has his passport, he loves going out on the lead."

Meet Snowy🐾, who has been in a shelter waiting for her home for about 2 years.

"This beautiful girl is Snowy, she is learning that people really are not that bad if you get to know them. She came for a local park when there was a threat that they were going to be poisoned and she has been in the shelter ever since, which sadly has been about 2 years.
Snowy would love a home and someone to love her, she is liking her walks and she loves to be brushed.
[Snowy needs an] adult only home, unless dog savvy children, as this girl needs time and patience; she is not one to be bounced on. She loves other dogs and she is not at all interested in cats."

Our Charity Fun Dog Show is getting closer.

It will be held on Sunday 17th September at our training field in Lovell Road, Oakley, MK43 7RZ.

This week's scorching weather has us all feeling the heat, and we want to ensure that our furry friends stay safe and comfortable during their daily adventures. 🐕🌡️

With temperatures soaring, we're taking extra steps to protect your beloved pups while still providing them with the love and attention they deserve. Here's how we're keeping our doggy clients cool and happy:

🌅 Adjusted Walk Times: We're happy to shift our walking schedule to the cooler parts of the day, either in the early morning or later evening, when the sun isn't as intense. Your fur babies can still get their exercise without overheating.

🏡 Shade and Indoor Play: We'll be seeking out the shadiest spots and even keeping your furry friends indoors when necessary. Indoor playtime means fun games, toys, and lots of snuggles to keep them cool and content.

🧩 Mental Stimulation: Missing a walk doesn't mean missing out on fun! We'll engage your pups with mentally stimulating activities like puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and obedience training sessions to keep their minds sharp and happy.

💧 Hydration: Our team is equipped with plenty of water to keep your dogs hydrated during their morning and evening outings. Staying hydrated is crucial in the heat, and we're here to ensure they have access to clean, fresh water at all times.
