Stagsden’s Christmas themed Group Dog Walk will be on Sunday 22nd December 2024.

Please meet outside the Village Hall (if driving, PLEASE park on the road, past the last house towards MK & not in the hall car park, thank you) at 10am to register. There is a suggested Donation of £5 per dog & each dog will receive a FREE Festive Doggie Bandana!

Feel free to dress festively as a prize for the best dressed dog with hooman!!
A reminder that NO bi***es in SEASON please!

Friendly, sociable & well behaved dogs ONLY please. Unfortunately if your dog has previously bitten, been aggressive, threatening or intimidating, for health & safety reasons, they are politely requested to stay away… sorry.

If you don’t have a dog, you can still attend. The walk should last approximately an hour & a half which includes a half way refreshment/toilet “pit stop” at Perfectly Pawsome, Kinsbourne Farm, Wick End for mulled wine, mince pies & dog treats etc.

Please keep leads on & leave space especially for anxious dogs which might need it.

Remember to bring suitable clothing for you & your dog and footwear as we will be walking on hard & soft possibly muddy ground including fields & road. Don’t forget poo bags, water & cash for donations.

IMPORTANT CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR REMINDER

NATIONWIDE COURIER SERVICE - Please make sure all orders are placed before 12pm Thursday 19th December as this will be our last despatch date before Christmas & New Year. Orders placed after this deadline will not be despatched until Monday 6th January 2025.

LOCAL DELIVERIES - Only 3 days left for local deliveries within 15 miles of our shop, Thursday 19th, Friday 20th & Monday 23rd December. Please make sure orders are placed before 12pm on these dates. Orders placed after 12pm on Monday 23rd December will not be delivered until 30th December. Orders place after 12pm Monday 30th December will not be delivered until Friday 3rd January.

Normal Service resumes for Everyone Monday 6th January 2025.

This precious girl was abandoned in Stagsden late at night on 4th November 2024, cold, confused and in an awful state of neglect.

It is quite apparent that Darcie will need a lot of medical intervention because of the level of neglect that she has endured, her journey to recovery is likely to be lengthy and there may be a few bumps in the road along the way.

Praise sent to Suzanne Garvey-Heath for taking Darcie in, your love & care to Darcie.

We have donated & will be offering support with food, treats & supplements to help this lovely girl to recovery, if you our lovely customers can offer any financial help to Darcie's much needed medical treatment it would be much appreciated - please click on the donation tab below.

Christmas fayre in aid of Canine Partners 11am to 4pm.

Meet in the car park of Bromham Village Hall, Village Rd, Bromham, Bedfordshire, MK43 8JP.

Suggested Donation £5 per dog. FREE Bandana.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION

Due to more heavy rainfall, flooding & road closures please be mindful that if you would not be able to get to us then we won’t be able to do local delivery to you.
Please respect our lives are not to be put at risk.
We are closed from Saturday 1pm to Tuesday 9.30am, but if you do have enough dog/pet food to see you through until next week please hold back on placing your orders until then or put your order through with a note for delivery next week.
A reminder that the store will be closed Monday 30th September reopening Tuesday 1st October.
There be no local deliveries or Nationwide dispatches on Monday, next delivery/dispatch date is Tuesday 1st October.

There might be a difficult commute ahead for some across the Borough due to flooding in places.

Before you travel, please be aware of a number of road closures and issues across the area

• Avoid Paula Radcliffe Way (A6) as it is closed both directions. Crews on route to clear as quickly as possible so we can reopen.
• High Street, Clapham is closed.
• Lovell Road, Clapham is closed.
• Mill Road Sharnbrook is closed.
• The A6 at Milton Ernest is passable with care due to surface water
• The A421 is currently closed between the A6 and Marston Moretaine.
• Harrold, Oakley, Felmersham and Radwell bridges are closed.

Please also be aware that Oakley Road, Bromham is closed due to emergency works by UK Power Networks.

Driving in heavy rain and flooding can be hazardous.

Firstly it is always advisable to consider before you set off whether your journey is essential. If not, can it be delayed until after the rain has subsided?

If so then plan your journey in advance, taking care to avoid areas which are prone to flooding and factor in extra time to allow for slower speeds and potential congestion.

Do not walk or drive through flood water. Flood water may contain sewage and hide rubbish, wreckage, uneven roads and pavements or broken drain and manhole covers.

Be mindful that driving through flood water can negatively impact neighbouring properties.

Don’t remove road closure signs. The signs are there for your safety.
