So happy with River’s progress, arriving as a blank canvas a few weeks ago, he felt so safe having his first canter in an open field I could film the second 🤩 There is availability for backing, schooling or rehabilitation liveries from mid September don’t hesitate to get in touch
A lovely client enjoying and relaxing into a Physiotherapy session today. Limited availability this week however don’t hesitate to message for a session next week!
It’s not all about the work with any horses but especially youngsters, they are not machines 🙌🏻. Especially when they’ve come to a new place with new people for backing, we prioritise spending time with them outside of work to build a bond and trust so the whole process is more enjoyable for them😌
Getting some practice in before the final push of my degree. Here is just a short before and after video of massaging an area of spasm often found in horses both in and out of work! Thank you to the lovely owners trusting me to practice my skills on their horses 💕
The difference a massage, stretching and one ride can make on a tense horse🤩 still a long way to go with muscle, consistency and trust but we can’t complain about the improvement between the first 2 rides on this gorgeous gentle giant
It’s the little things 🥰 Not a nasty mare in any way, she’s just not had much (if any) handling of her back end before so was very guarded. Got the hang of it today and we’re very proud 💕
Long and boring video, but this gorgeous mare really shows that patience and small steps really is the way💗
Apologies for being a little bit MIA recently! Been out of action for a month due to a concussion just not wanting to leave me alone. Awaiting an MRI result to see when I can get back in the saddle as the head is definitely not something to be messed around with🤕
Little video of some fun ponies over summer, can’t wait to get back in action and hopefully ride some of your lovely/sassy ponies over my Christmas break❤️
Daisy has cracked the solo hacking and starting some hill work to build her muscle up 💪🏼
It’s not all about the riding🤩Unfortunately don’t have any ‘before’ videos but I’m so proud of this little mare. She wasn’t the most trusting girl around especially when it came to touching her legs, hind quarters and mouth. So picking out her feet, bitting her and having the farrier (even sedated) has always been a massive battle. She has gone from an hour long battle with panic in her eyes to get the bit in her mouth to taking it with no encouragement at all. Instead of kicking out at the touch of her legs we can now pick out all 4 feet, and sedation is no longer needed for the farrier. The change in her mannerisms and confidence the last few weeks has been amazing to watch and riding wise she is a dream taking everything in her stride. We love Tallie 😍
Really can’t call this work😍 love getting the babies out for a stretch to see the world
Couldn’t resist a cuddle with a sleepy Felix in the sun yesterday 🥺
