Preparation is underway for, dare we say it, winter 🥶☔️ here at CFL from field planing and moving fencing to putting hard core down its all systems go!

Soon all our liveries will move into their winter fields, enabling us to start maintenance on our summer paddocks 🚜♻️🌱

It has been nearly 2 years since the last post 🤦🏼‍♀️ during that time we have said good bye to a few long term Livery’s and welcomed some great new partnerships 🦄. As always we have continued to maintain and improve the yard with parking and trailer parking renovations and new roofs on barns 👏😃.

We have a vacancy coming available at the end of May for Full or Part livery. Church farms happy faces are featured below 💙❤️

While the world is a bit of a strange place to be within the current situation we find our self’s in we have some very good news!

Back in September our lovely Trevor who is 23 and has been with us for 4 years ruptured his digital flexor tendon, and has finally made it out of his stable into the field!! 🥳. We have worked around the clock alongside his owners with a around the clock rehab plan and our effort is finally paying off! ( we have done more icing, bandaging and walking to last us a life time) He is now sound at walk and very nearly trot enjoying his favourite place to be the field! 🐽 He is by no means out of the woods but it is great to see him in the field again and pulling through fingers x he can continue to improve 💙

All the horses at Church Farm are now in there summer fields 🦄☀️ I thrive on insuring our horses can be horses no matter what there discipline in life and have time to be horses. As you can see I think they are all pretty satisfied. Winter fields have been rolled and fertilised and are resting.

Before Christmas we had some new arrivals the lovely Robin and Clicquot they have settled into life with us and are both lovely boys. I have been lucky enough to have been offered the ride on Robin 🤩

During Isolation we are doing our best to insure everybody stays safe, whilst following the social distancing rules, we are also working from a daily timetable to ensure everybody can still have there escape from life with there best friends 🥰💙

We can proudly announce we now have a full set of mirrors to add to our facilities 😁👏 how lucky are we 😍🎉🎉

Huge Well done to Lisa who has been getting on Missy after not riding for a while you both look fabulous 👏💪🏻

Spirit has had a variety of work over the last couple of weeks and is getting stronger and I like to think a bit more streamline 🙊🐽

Helen and Crew have started jumping again after crew had time off. Helen has been getting his fitness back, he is looking very well and we all have our fingers x he carry’s on going from strength to strength 🦄🥰

Harriett won her first Red ribbon with Paddy 👏💪🏻🦄 the pair have had a great few last outings keep up the good work 🦄

Murray is back on board after a few months off after injury and is doing a great Job with Eugene 😁🐴

We still have a couple of vacancies available to add to our lovely team at Church Farm

Some pictures of around the yard and livery’s out and about over the last few weeks.
Spirit has moved on to working livery while her lovely owner Charlie is at Uni. She is a great little busy person and life is very exciting. We have started by encouraging spirit to relax down into the bridle both on the lunge and ridden. She is progressing within every session 💜🥰

Harriett and Paddy have been out adding to their Rosette collection 👏😁

Rachel and Trevor recently attended their dressage championships not only did they go alone with no groom! 💪🏻 they got lovely comments from the judges and 64% 👏 well done guys!💜🦄

Chloe and Rose attended their first hunter trail and both enjoyed it start to finished well done girls 😁🦄🙌🏻

We have some exciting developments happening over the next few weeks! 🤭😆 keep your eyes peeled 👀

This weekend we where spoilt with our lunge pen being finished 🙌🏻👌🏻 it is lovely and big allowing the horses to work evenly on a big circle.

Crew has come back into work after his poorly spell we all have our fingers crossed 🤞🏼 that he only continues to improve. He is very happy to be doing some work again love him 🦄💙

The fields have been eaten down, cut and prepared to be rested. Most of the Horses have moved on to their to rotation field they
do love their grass all year round 👍🏻🦄🐴

Our Livery’s have had a great last few weeks starting with Rachel and Trevor being totally fabulous 🥳😁 during their last Dressage outing on Trevor’s 22nd Birthday they came home with a 3rd place. Well done Rachel together you have both overcome so much in the last few years 💪🏻🐴💜

Missy was worked a few times while her mummy Lisa was having a lovely time away in sunny France. She was very fresh and bouncy to start but finished working soft and starting to stretch. She is feeling and looking rather well 💜🦄💁‍♀️

Charlie has been building up Spirits fitness after an injury since she has been with us and the pair are looking wonderful!😍

Chloe, Murray and Harriet have all been XC schooling and all 3 ponies Rose, Eugene and Paddy loved every minute. An exceptional well done to Murray who within the last few months has worked so very hard to become a team with Eugene and it’s really starting to pay off 💪🏻💙😁🥳🥳

Fabulous day for Murray and Harriet we took the boys for an outing it being Eugene’s first with Murray!! All 4 of them were brilliant what a great way to start the holidays 😁⭐️🥳. We even dodged the rain ☔️

We have a new resident at Church Farm, everybody meet Spirit 🦄 . She is a poppet and has settled to life like she has been here for years as they all do 💜.

Everybody was wormed yesterday, they where all very grateful for being out before 8 after a day in 💙💜☀️

Big round of applause 👏 for Chloe and Rose who recently took place in their first Dressage outing coming home with a score of 67 % and 2nd place 😁💪🏻🦄

Horses are loving their field time I mean why wouldn’t they! Only the best for our Church Farm liveries 🙌🏻🦄🐴

To say it’s Been raining non stop all week our fields are looking wonderful ! We take great pride in providing each horse has 2 paddocks they can rotate between to keep their belly’s full all year round! 💪🏻🎉🐽

We would all like to say a huge congratulations to Chloe Williams for becoming a fully qualified sports massage therapist 💪🏻😁🎉🎉

The beautiful Missy turned 17 years young and celebrated being partnered with her mummy for 10 years this week 🥰

Everyone has been working really hard with their team members the photos below show just that well done everyone! Even Ana went to the dark side and swapped ponies and had a jump on Paddy they had so much fun! In return Murray and Harriet got to play on the marvellous Toffee and play with some of his moves 💁‍♀️👑🦄

Des is getting to see is mummy after work and loving his evening rides 🐴💙

Murray has been grinning as his confidence is boosting every ride and has been hacking the lovely Eugene well done Murray 💪🏻

Helen and Crew have been getting back to what they both love after a rubbish start to the year both doing fabulous! 🎉🦄

Harriet has almost perfected her jumping position 🦄💕

Rachel has been working so very hard on getting Trevor working and thinking forward whilst being consistent hard work pays of they both look amazing! 👍🏻💪🏻🦄

The extended fields are recovering nicely and being fenced as we speak 😆

Busy few weeks at Church Farm. The lunge pen is finished how fabulous is it! Just got the fencing to put up and wait for the surface to set and we will be queuing up to get in! 😁💪🏻

Some of our wonderful livery’s pictured below firstly, a huge well done to Rachel and Trev for there first outing of the year the other weekend. They came home with big smiles and a great percentage scored, Rachel has been working very hard in our lessons to contain Trev positively whilst being confident (which she has achieved every lesson) as he is feeling very well and has spent a lot of time being happy, bronking and bouncing around like a little lamb 🐴🙈

Harriet and Murray competed in their first hunter trial with great success Murray came home with a Blue ribbon showing his hard work and determination pays off!💪🏻👍🏻🐴

Helen has been on a high from our lesson this week having not had the greatest start with Paddy her confidence has been none existing but slowly but surely she has come back fighting and worked Paddy beautifully!😁

Toffee showing his versatility, Ana has schooled him beautifully over the years that they have been partnered together teaching him lots of sassy moves. It’s like watching a master class when they get going!👏 He is also teaching Ana’s daughter to ride and have fun doing so 😁🦄

We are currently in the process of fencing new fields and expanding, enabling us to welcome new liveries to our current fabulous team. 😁🦄🐴

We have recently added another member to the Church Farm gang 👩‍👩‍👧 everybody meet Rose. Chloe is loaning Rose with the hope to get out competing this summer. As always at Church Farm she has settled in to the daily routine and life like a dream she has also made some new friends 👑🦄.

Some great news that Crew is back to his old self and Helen has started to work him which he is loving! 💙🦄

Murray has started cantering Eugene in our lessons which is a fabulous achievement having a slightly rocky start with each other but the consistency, confidence and positive riding is really starting to pay of for them both!

We have got some work starting in the next week our lunge pen is not only expanding we are having a new surface 😁 exciting.

Transport to the yard this morning 😂🦄

Prince's answer to coming in today! Thankfully from rotating and looking after the fields we have at Church Farm we go into winter with fields full off grass. Even provided Prince with the best kind of footing for his impression of the grand national! 🙈🍀🦄

Only Lola has this much energy at 7.30 on a morning. Here she is demonstrating her field dance which occurs every morning 💜 🙄🦄
