After last year's success we will once again be running our National Sheepdog trials in partnership with the International Sheep Dog Society.

Competitors will compete at IDNL Nursery trials to achieve aggregate points, which will then allow them to run at the Final at NSA HighlandSheep 2025. Trials are getting underway so be sure to sign up and get involved.

On this Remembrance Day, we invite all our members and followers to join us in a minute’s silence at 11am to honour the brave men, women, and animals who served and sacrificed so much for us in times of war.

This Remembrance Sunday, we pause to remember those who served and sacrificed in times of war. The ISDS would also like to take a moment to honour the unsung heroes who worked alongside them, the dogs who played crucial roles in supporting soldiers on the front lines.🐾

Did you know that our trusty Border Collies were vital during wartime? 🧐 They would carry messages, locate wounded soldiers, and alert their handlers to the presence of enemies. While few of them gained much fame during the war, their contributions were invaluable to the units they served.🤩

At the ISDS, we remember and celebrate the incredible history of Border Collies, not only for their work on the farm but also for their heroic service in times of need.❤️

Lest we forget.
