ISN INCOMING! Is your membership up to date? Don't miss out...
CALLING ALL MEMBERS, especially DIRECT DEBIT payers!

We asked all Direct Debit payers to renew their agreement, as part of the upgrades to our IT system. In contacting members this week we realise a lot have not read or received our communications. Please check and renew if you wish to. We will send the magazine subscribers list on Monday 23rd so don't miss out!

Renewals can be completed through MyISDS or the Office, team are able to help.

Ongoing discounts available for setting up Direct Debit.

At the Society AGM on the 22nd February. we welcomed a new Chairman and Vice Chairman, and 4 new members of Council. 🤩

We said thank you (but certainly not farewell!) to Mr Ian Fleming & Mr Thomas Longton, as they stepped down as Chairman and Vice Chairman, as well as Mr Martin Davidson, Mr Michael Longton, Mr Eamon McAuley and Mr Duncan Robertson as they step down from Council. 👏

You can find an up to date ISDS Officials List on our website, which includes Directors from each Nation. Nominations for Directors to take office in October 2025 must be received at the ISDS Office by 1st April 2025.🧐

Some of you may have noticed a Blue tick next to our name... We are now Verified!🔵

The blue ticks on this ISDS page and our International Trial page means we are verified! We hope this will help to provide clarity and help identify our Official pages, and avoid these pesky scam pages that crop up during trial season!

Important updates to Society Constitution, Rules for Trials & Studbook/Guide to Member Services 2025🧐

We encourage all members to re-familiarise themselves with the Society Constitution, Rules for Trials, and Guide to Member Services/Stud Book Rules that are now in affect. These are all available to download on our website.

These rules were updated at the Society AGM on 22nd February 2025.

Updates to the Constitution: In respect of rules 2.15, 2.16, and 2.17, 4.11 and 5.1.

Updates to Stud Book Rules: In respect of rules 2.1, 2.2, 7.5, and 7.8.

Updates to Rules for Trials: In respect of rule 3.3m.

We are pleased to announce that at the AGM last weekend, Society Directors decided to adopt using Working Sheep Dogs as the Society Trials Diary going forward, and will be sitting on the ISDS website. 😀

This means that the Trials Diary can be updated by trial organisers on a self serve basis, rather that having to contact the office to get trials uploaded, ensuring any last minute qualifying trials can be advertised in line with Society Rules for qualification.

Our "old" trials diary will remain live until we have moved all trials over currently on there, to Working Sheepdogs.

It's our (re-scheduled) AGM week! This weekend sees our Society Directors heading to Preston, safe journey to all attending and we look forward to a productive meeting!

A full report from the AGM will be in the next issue of International Sheepdog News, which will be reaching you a little later than planned due to the postponement of the AGM. We will provide an update on when this should be reaching you as soon as we can!
