It's our (re-scheduled) AGM week! This weekend sees our Society Directors heading to Preston, safe journey to all attending and we look forward to a productive meeting!

Important information ahead of producing the Studbook for 2024 🐾

We encourage members to please thoroughly check all details are correct on Registration Forms (either paper or online) before submitting to us, and then check again on Registration Certificates as soon as you receive them. 🧐

Unfortunately, the delay in producing the 2023 Studbook has been down to delays in correcting information received at the office. However, we are pleased to announce that these will be available from 15th February 2025 to pre-order online only. https://internationalsheepdogsociety.myshopify.com/products/isds-stud-books-2014-onwards 🙏

The cut off date for any further corrections to the 2024 Studbook will be 14th March 2025. After this time changes will not be made to the studbook, to ensure a more timely availability. 📖

In light of the red weather warnings in Ireland and Scotland, and the yellow and amber warnings across much of the country, which are all advising against travel, we regret to inform you that the AGM in Preston scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled.

The safety of our directors and members is of paramount importance to us. This situation is unfortunately out of our control, and we believe cancelling the event is the best course of action given the severe weather conditions.

Please inform anyone who may already be travelling to Preston if you can, we are in the process of contacting everyone as quickly as we can.

Any rooms you have booked for tomorrow night (Friday 23rd) are refundable if cancelled before 4pm today. The hotel will probably be inundated with calls for most of today, but have assured us they will do their best to speak to everyone who has booked with them as quickly as they can.

It's almost time for our Annual Society Directors Meeting! 🐾

This weekend our ISDS Directors and Trustees will be heading to Preston to hear Society updates from the CEO and debate motions that have been proposed for 2025. We are looking forward to a great AGM! 🤩

As always, we will be revealing the top dog and bitch names for puppies registered in 2024, comment your guesses below and we will reveal the top names next week! 🧐

Planning for the 2026 World Trial is getting underway with the first meeting being held at 7pm on Thursday 6th February, 2025 at Lauderdale Hotel, Lauder TD2 6TW Scottish Borders.

If you wish to be a part of the organising committee please come along to the first meeting to show your support!
