Hi all our lovely customers. Our opening times are slightly different over Xmas so please bare this in mind when visiting.

Weekend 14/15th - 12pm to 4pm
Weekend 21/22nd - 12pm to 4pm
Xmas day - CLOSED
Boxing Day - 12pm to 4pm
New year eve 12pm -4pm
New Year’s Day 12pm -4pm
Any other days are usual 10am -4pm
This is to allow us and staff to get the horses done but also have time for ourselves.

Book now for your horse treatment session!

❔❄️Winter treatments, why is it important to keep your session through winter even if you stopped riding?

❔🤷🏼‍♀️What do you get from your treatment?

A full assessment of your horse, finding out their strength and weakness.

After assessing your horse will get a full body massage and manipulation to correct weaknesses and enhance their strength!
Massage and mobilisation will help your horse in many ways:

- increase joint synovial fluids movement preventing build up of arthritis and prevent cartilage injury

- Reduce stagnation of fluid in distal limbs caused by reduced turn out in winter, preventing distal limb injury (tendon, ligaments, and bones)

- increase flexibility and performance, leading to less reluctance in ridden work as movements are freed from pain, discomfort, soreness and stiffness

- increase mood, by releasing endorphins and opioids hormones leading to a relaxed state during and after the treatment

- Decrease the amount of step back from winter rest when going back into ridden work as muscles and brain kept being stimulated in different manners!

After your session, you get a 4 weeks remedial exercises planned tailored for you and your horse, to help you address weaknesses and help your reach you own goals.

We care for these horses like our own. We love our job. We take pride in making sure everyone has a happy, healthy retirement with us. We enjoy seeing positive turn arounds. We strive on working as a team with staff and customers. We CARE. Communicate - between us and owners. Accommodate - making sure your horse is accommodated for their individual needs. Recognise - there will be changes as they get older and this is normal like people. Evaluate - look at the situation and make the right decision for your horse NOT YOU! Retirement livery is difficult as every single horse has problems we manage. And as they get older, these problems become more prominent. Our jobs are however stressful and sad too at times. Please be mindful of this. Caroline is still struggling after surgery so any issues please email Abbie. Please remember we CARE too. Communicate Accommodate Recognise Evaluate These things are the most important things to remember while your horse is with us. We haven’t been here 26 years for nothing! Have a good week 🥕
