I am a mobile and studio pet photographer who specialises in dogs and cats - but happy to photograph any animals at all! I live in Maulden, Central Bedfordshire with my family and my own dogs and cats

I enjoy training my own Border Collie Bobby, in obedience and agility, and this has given me a love of action shots that really capture the movement of animals at play or work. I equally love taking

pictures of cats lazing in the sun, or dogs relaxing in their favourite bed. LONG POST 😭

This morning it was Bobby’s turn to go to the Emergency Vet. Out of the blue his health rapidly declined during the night. Sadly the decision was made to put my precious baby boy to sleep 😢🌈

We are all heartbroken 💔

Bobby was a dog in a million. He truly was. He wasn’t a fan of other dogs, but he loved people, he loved balls, he loved the beach, he loved sleeping with a toy under his chin! He loved my cats, he loved “doing” things - anything - as long as it was with his humans! He loved agility, scentwork, nose games, steeplechase, lure, tuggy, tricks - anything he could do to show you what a clever boy he was!!

And he WAS clever. And obedient!

A brilliant recall, sit/stay/down/retrieve… he would obey commands at distance. I was often told on walks that he was a credit to me. Like a proud Mum I smiled on the inside. Those many years of living with and training a reactive dog did pay off and I was always so proud of him. Thanks to all the input over the years from Lesley Oliphant who supported me so much on my “not always easy” journey with Bobby, and Emma Conlisk too who taught us agility for so many years and tolerated Bobby’s incessant barking due to his constant wish to just get on with something and ignore the boring instructions!! 😂

His life was marred by his lifelong EPI. Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. Basically his pancreas never worked and he was on meds for life. It’s been a life of contestant check ups, blood tests and very expensive premiums which regrettably I only stopped 6 months ago, because at £260 per month (not a typo!) it became prohibitive! 😬🙈

Bobby has made me laugh, and he’s made me cry over the years - tears of frustration, joy and pride…. but today my tears just keep coming. I am heartbroken. This unexpected loss is so painful and I’ll miss him more than I’ve ever missed a dog.

Every one of you that has ever lost a dog will know the intense, unbearable, gut pain I’m talking about 😭

We only said a “far too soon” goodbye to our beloved Sammy last year. It feels cruel to feel this again so soon 😢

Bobby will always live on in my heart… in my head I have a million memories of every day we have shared since he came into my life in 2012 💕

On my phone, computer and walls, I have literally thousands of photos of my beloved soulmate and I truly treasure every one that reminds me of happier times

I hope you don’t mind me sharing some of my favourites that for those never met him show you the gorgeous, handsome, gentle boy he was 💔🌈

BELLA has been coming for her annual Christmas photos for as long as I've been doing them! She is almost 11 years old now and just the sweetest, tiniest little bundle of fluff, and its always an absolute pleasure to photograph her every time 🥰🐾

Priority bookings have been given to previous Christmas customers.....but I am now opening sessions for anyone else who is interested...or past customers that haven't got round to booking yet!

Spaces are limited and unfortunately not many weekend slots left - but I will accommodate everyone as best as I can!

£40 for one dog
£45 for two+ dogs

At least 3 different backdrops...all digital images included in your session fee

** standing on a tree stump is not compulsory - just a bonus! 😂

Well they weren’t expecting that… 🦭😂

Super busy week, making sure all these beautiful frames and prints get to their lucky owners before the big day! Everyone will have their frames by the end of tomorrow! 🥰🐾

Some of you might remember that at the start of the month, myself, Bobby and Bonnie took on the challenge of walking 50 miles in November to raise much needed funds for The Samaritans. We almost didn’t complete it due to illness, commitments and just “life” 🙈… but I am really pleased to say that today we completed the challenge…just! I can’t believe how quickly November came and went! A massive thank you to everyone who sponsored us. I will leave the just giving page here and open for a couple more days in case anyone feels inclined to donate.
