Hi Everyone
First of all I REALLY want to say a HUGE thank you for all your support during 2021 and my first year of business.
I have loved every minute of it and am looking forward to 2022. From the 1st February 2022 I will need to make some changes to my pricing structure. This is a lot to read i am very sorry, but there are a lot of changes.
Deposits required from 1st February 2022
Over the past year I have had a lot of customers not show for their appointments, as you can appreciate this has affected my business and income significantly. I have decided to start from the 1st February to send out a payment link for a non-refundable Β£15 deposit upon booking your appointment. If you need to cancel and re-book your appointment 48hrs notice will be required to ensure no loss of your deposit. If this may cause any issues please contact me personally and I will be happy to talk this through. If you show up over 15 minutes late for your appointment unfortunately this will class as a no show and you will lose your deposit, as I will no longer have the time slot available to groom your dog.
I will be introducing both a LATE and MATTING fee as of the 1st February.
I book my clients (your besties) in a specific time slot to ensure there is no cross over of dogs, as some can be reactive towards other dogs and can cause delays for other clients as this puts me behind on my scheduled day. So if you are more than 15 minutes late picking your dog, there will be an additional fee of Β£5 for every 15 mins over your pick up time as we do not have the holding facilities.
Matting fees will be introduced for dogs that come into the salon matted, this can take up to an extra 30 mins of my hourly rate which in the past I haven't been charging for. Matting also causes my tools to blunten quicker which means I have to get them sharpened more often which is a cost to my business. Matting fees will be between Β£5 and Β£10 depending on severity and time it takes.
