Back to business for Kerry and T**i. Working on some transitions to keep T**i a bit more awake as Kerry has been finding T**i a bit behind the leg recently. Could be from all the excitement of her first show 🥰🥰
And a big step for my wee guy, long reining on his first hack and he was a superstar 🤩🤩.

Any one looking for any lessons or help with their horses next week just give me a buzz as got very quiet all of a sudden. Winter is coming for sure ❄️⛄️

I have a very lovely client who’s having some issues at their current yard and looking for a new one. Do any of my lovely clients have space on their yards for 2 well behaved Mares? They are looking for assisted if possible.

Spent a wee day doing something that I hope I get to do more of soon.

Had such a fabulous day at farm park. I hope all competitors had the best time and I hope to see you all again either as a fellow competitor or in the judges box 🖤🖤 Well done!!!!

So so so proud of this pair today!!! Kerry and T**i’s first ever competition and they done an amazing job!!!! 🥳🥳🥳. 4th place in their prelim test.
This was the first time we’ve ever taken T**i out so we were all a bit nervous about how she would react to the change in environment and she never put a hoof wrong all day!!!
Kerry can’t wait for their next outting as she says “she’s caught the competing bug 🐞” 😂😂. Which is music to my ears!! Well done again ladies!!! 🏵️🎖️🏅

Hi everyone 👋🏻👋🏻

Sorry I’ve been so absent on my page but had a lot going on in my personal life which I know some of you are well aware of.

However due to my insurance going up and everything else, I’ve had to make the very difficult decision to increase my prices slightly. This is the first time I’ve ever had to do this as I don’t like doing it as I believe lessons should be for everyone but sadly, in order for me to keep teaching I need to do this.

•30min lessons will stay at £30 but will have a fuel charge if 20miles away from Beith in North Ayrshire
•1hr lessons will now be £45 but no fuel charge.
•New prices will start from Monday 1st September

As I said I hate doing this but it’s the only way I can continue to teach. If anyone has any questions or concerns please done hesitate to message me or speak to me in person. 🖤🖤

What a difference!!! 🤩🤩
Now I’m not for one to blame my tools but sometimes it can be the wrong saddle. Which is what happened to Michelle and Jack as Jack came with this saddle. So it wasn’t professionally fitted.
As we can see from the first clip, Michelle is leaning on her hands, legs swinging forward and Jack isn’t really going anywhere. All because Michelle is trying to make herself comfortable. But the 2nd clip is with their new dressage saddle that has been professionally fitted the difference is unreal!!! Michelle position has improved so much resulting in a far better leg position and better form of balance. Even Jack is off like a rocket (little too fast for my liking 😂) but just shows you sometimes it is the tools we work with can be causing more issues than solving them.

Fabulous pairing making another accomplishment 🥳🥳🥳

Hazel and her lovely girl going all the way to the top of the arena, both walk and trot in tonight’s lesson!!!
Only been working with them for 4wks and the difference in Hazel’s confidence is amazing!!! When I first met this pairing, they weren’t really in harmony and playing off of each others nerves but as lessons go on they are developing a deeper relationship and understanding of each other resulting in trust 🥰🥰
Keep up the amazing work ladies 🤩🤩

Love this!!!! So true🥰🥰. Even as a coach I still have my first coach telling me in my head to sit on my ass and push with my seat rather than flapping about like a fish 😂😂

Every ride begins alone.
Just you, your horse, and the silence.
