Well, thank goodness January is finally over!

For some, it feels like the longest month ever. For Oh My Dog, it was “The Month of Many No-Shows”

We came back to work on the 6th, so in less than a full month we had 23 no shows. That’s almost one every single day. Quite a few days had multiple.

Please don’t come at me with “I didn’t get a reminder”. Most of you have schedules, you have all your dates upfront, we shouldn’t have to remind you of your appointments. Get them in your phone calendar or diary. We will send a reminder out if we have time, but we concentrate on grooming the dogs in front of us and by the end of the day we are knackered and want to go home. Do not rely on us reminding you of the appointment you made. Sending reminders doesn’t stop no shows so it’s really frustrating. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

Bring self employed and having staff who rely on me to pay them on payday, it’s becoming increasing worrying that we have such a huge loss in income in 4 weeks.
My girls still have to be paid, rent, rates, water, insurance, electric…. I could go on and on and on. It’s me who bares the brunt of the losses, and soon it won’t be sustainable anymore. I’m sick of singing the same tune.

Please, remember your appointments or remember to cancel them. My T&Cs are available on the page and if you don’t respect them then I guess we can’t be friends 🤷‍♀️
