Our wee Bruno 🌈🤍🐾

Working with dogs is a dream of many people but only a lucky few get to do it; we at the K9ndergarten Belfast are truly blessed to have lots of amazing dogs who provide us with lots of funny moments, lots of love and it’s fair to say one or two challenges as well… however, there are days that are just heartbreaking too.. we heard the sad news yesterday that Bruno, one of our best loved characters passed over the rainbow bridge over this past weekend… we are all shocked and incredibly saddened by the news.

Condolences to Robbie and Mary at what must be an awful time for them.. Bruno will be missed and will live long in our hearts.

Beginning mid-May, there will be a slight increase in boarding rates. This increase only applies to two dogs from the same family and puppies under 6 months. This update allows me to maintain the highest standard of care, while continuing to make a living, especially with insurance costs increasing.🩷🐶

Not only am I equipped to board a variety of doggo breeds, but my expertise extends to caring for a range of furry and non-furry species. Therefore, I have added costs of these services to the new price list also.🐢🐹🐾

I’ve had quite a few enquiries over the years about avian boarding, which is super cool🤩
But unfortunately I am unable to facilitate boarding for birds 🦜

Hello everyone! Just a quick and important policy update👋🏼

Dealing with all sorts of adorable doggos over the years, I totally get that accidents happen! 💩😆 However, I cannot board dogs with known stomach issues unless managed with special food or medication.

I won't be providing any treats or food for boarding anymore. Dogs can be picky, and even the best treats might not agree with everyone. Owners need to bring their own treats and food, along with feeding instructions. But if you have specific treats your dog loves and tolerates well, let me know, and I'll happily get them for their stay😋

After handling quite a few carpet mishaps over the years, I've had to make some doggo friendly adjustments. While it's all part of the job, nobody enjoys a tummy ache, whether it's for humans or doggos!🤧

With that said…

If your dog has an upset stomach for 24 hours despite precautions, I'll offer to take them to the vet at your expense. If not, the stay unfortunately ends, and you'll need to arrange pick-up or drop-off.
