The Burn Equestrian Centre

We are a British Horse Society Approved Livery Yard. With the welfare of the horse and happiness of the clients being their top priority.

The Burn Equestrian Centre is located in the beautiful Knockbracken Health Care Park, only 5miles from Belfast City Centre. The Burn Equestrian Centre has extensive facilities and dedicated staff who are committed to offer a high standard of service for all clients and horses. We have excellent stabling and livery facilities run successfully by our dedicated staff

o come and have a look around to see the horses and facilities available. Our friendly and helpful staff is always on hand to show you around and answer any questions.

A part time opportunity, 15 hours per week, is available at the Burn Equestrian Centre. The position requires flexibility during weekdays and includes 1 weekend day. Hours of work will be by agreement.
Knowledge of horse care and a practical approach to working with and around horses is essential.
Payment will be pro rota based upon age related NLW rates.

Yesterday evening we had the privilege of having vets Chris akkari and kara Johnston from KR Equine Veterinary Services Ltd over for a talk on general first aid and signs and symptoms of colic, followed by a demonstration of the best way to bandage a leg and poultice! All liveries enjoyed the evening leaving with alot of helpful information!

We look forward to organising another one in the near future!

This week's write up in the farm week!

Last Saturday saw Robert Murdy do a number of classes throughout the day, with many learning a few extra tips!

With each class working on there pole work and small jumps, focusing on related distances!

We look forward to having Robert back for another clinic in the near future!

So we had the privilege of having Robert Murdy FEI level 2 coach - showjumping and EMMETT practitioner down with us again on sat 21st!

He done a number of lessons throughout the day and gave everyone a lot of useful advise to work on going forward with their horses/ponies!

With great weather to go with such a great day, we hope to have him back again soon!
