Can't believe i have gone from owning 2 dogs to having 4 within a space of a week. 🐾🐕💙💕.
Wee patchy boy the jack Russel in the middle who turned up at my house last summer straying who I just knew i would end up having him live with me.
He will live out his retirement with all the home comforts he never had along with 3 female companions to keep him on his toes. 😂💕
Blue the beddy whippet was a family members dog that david is obsessed with he takes her to shows and has been pestering me for a year to keep her so I finally gave in. 🐾
She's david's shadow and is such a calm gentle wee soul .I'm so happy and glad they have settled in right away and are all happy together. 🐕🐾💕💙

I have been getting a lot of enquiries about daycare and boarding so just an update i no longer offer these services due to my other work commitments.

I still offer walks - doggy wash service and home visits for your pets.

Hi everyone i have been a bit quiet lately on here as I've had lots going on in my personal life.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and has a great 2023 .

Really enjoyed looking after these 2 wee elderly dogs Gucci and zar zra. Both 13 and wee zar zra is totally blind but she still run down the stairs every visit like a mad pup. Wee Gucci was so timid at the start but came round after a few visits. 🐾💕🦴🐕

After 3 months of flea treatment and alot of TLC so relieved to see wee patch hasn't got a single flea on him. 🐾💙🐕🐶
He's such a happy wee man and makes me so happy seeing him happy and barking his wee head of when he realises ive arrived to take him out. Surprised him with a new jumper to keep his wee bones warm in winter and he absolutely loves it. 💕🐾🐶

Was a pleasure doing house visits for Poppy and daisy while their owners were getting married. Daisy the wee Frenchie can be so afraid of strangers and usually barks and doesn't like being approached or touched at all.
I made great progress with her in a short space of time and in the end she was bringing me her toys when I arrived. Poppy the pug was so funny and quirky and loved her grub would have ate me if she could. 🤣

Retirement home needed for our lovely Bran please ❤️

Bran came in to our care sometime ago when his elderly owner took ill, his whole world had been turned upside down, he was recently rehomed by us but young kids visiting and on the busy estate seem to freak him out, a quieter home seems to be needed.

Bran is an 8 years old lab type boy, housetrained, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated he has lived with a cat, Bran walks great on a lead, has great recall and loves going for spins in the car, he's fine with dogs out and about as long as there not in his space but he'd prefer to be an only dog in the home, he does have a touch of arthritis and needs to stay on a grain free diet otherwise he's in great shape.

We’ve had a difficult few months at Almost Home.

Our vet bill for the last 8 weeks stands at £24.100 the cost of food has increased (in one small section alone the food bill has increased from £1500-£2100 😱) and electric & heating costs have all went up.

In the past month we’ve taken in record high numbers of dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, goats, reptiles and other animals 🐶🐱🐐🐰🦎

Had the pleasure of looking after gizmo for the week giving him his medication and spending some time with him.
He's the most placid & affectionate wee cat and was so accepting of me coming in every day.🐈‍⬛🐾💙

Took the plunge and enrolled to train to be a veterinary nurse and also working towards an HND in animal / management / animal science. 🐾
I've always loved animals and caring for them especially the oldies and sick ones that have additional needs. 🐾
I will still be offering all my services as normal I just feel it's time for a change and to use my brain a bit more and gain more skills in working with animals before I get any older.
I'm scared but excited for the new opportunities and experiences this may bring over the next 3 years so here's to the next chapter in my career .
