Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic was established in 2011 by founder and Senior Veterinary Surgeon Peter Herold. Since this we have grown to a team of 5 full time Veterinary Surgeons, and a support team to include a Practice Manager, Registered Veterinary Nurses, student nurses, animal nursing assistants and reception staff, totalling almost 20 employees. In 2023 we became an Employee Ownership Trust

meaning we are 100% owned by our employees who are 100% dedicated to you and your pets. As such, Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic will remain and independent clinic. We believe by staying small and friendly this serves our community better than selling out to a large co operative. Our new ownership structure means you will always have a vet that knows you and your pet as if they were part of the family. We’re here to help dogs, cats and other family pets to live long, happy lives. Our wide experience allows us to offer both primary and urgent care for animals. Services are provided in our purpose built, modern clinic in Belfast, which has an in-house Laboratory, Radiography, Endoscope, Ultrasound Scanning and state of the art surgical suites.

UPDATE - reunited with owner ❤️

This little old lady has been brought to us this morning after being out for a wander by herself! She is microchipped but I am not getting an answer on the phone number that is registered, she was found very close to her registered address so I’m hoping some neighbours or family might recognise her and ask her owner to contact us! 🤞🏻📞

We are looking for a receptionist to join our team for one years Maternity Leave, starting November 2025
The ideal candidate will have at least one years’ experience in a similar role of working in customer service, but not necessarily in a vets. You will be required to manage phone calls, making appointments and filtering any queries clients may have to the appropriate person.
You must be proficient in use of computers, e mail and processing payments. An understanding of basic Veterinary terminology would be an advantage.
Shifts are Monday to Wednesday 9am to 7.30pm with alternative Saturday mornings 8.30 to 1.30pm. We do require some flexibility with regards to picking up additional overtime shifts when other receptionists are on leave.
