⚠️ We have decided to close Wagz tomorrow, Friday 24th due to the extreme weather expected.

We will be reaching out to those booked in to reschedule, as it's definitely a day recommended to not do any unnecessary travelling. 😅

🚫 We have not got contact information for two dogs booked in for tomorrow, so we hope you see our post too! 🚫

Thank you for understanding, the safety of our staff and customers is the most important. We will get back to pampering all your pets again once the storm passes and is safe to do so 😊😊

❤️ We are so incredibly lucky that 99.9% of our customers are so amazing, supportive and respectful - and we appreciate all of you. ❤️

We would just like to take this opportunity to make a wee post about a situation that one our groomers was put in this week.

*Also to stress the importance of maintenance of your dogs hair, especially the longer areas that you'd like kept such as the face, ears and tail*

We try our best to give customers what they would like, but ultimately the animals welfare is always priority as severe matting can impact a dogs health, in various ways such as hematomas, skin irritation etc.

During this week we had an owner verbally abuse the youngest staff member, calling her lazy, a liar and disrespectful etc. As she had no choice other than the shave severe matting off the customers dogs ears. There were no other options as it was that severe after months of growth, as he was long overdue for a groom.

This was a very difficult experience for her, having a grown man berate and belittle her in such a way.

We treat all customers and their pets with respect. All we ask is respect in return.

It's that time of the year again, we would like to thank you all for trusting us with your fur babies all year round, thank you for all the wonderful cards and pressies for Christmas, and for our recent little baby staff member 🥰😂

We will now be closed until after New Year, for a much deserved break. 😁 So please expect a delay on messages etc. 😊
