⚠️ Road closure ⚠️

Morning all,

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, my road is going to be closed this week, Hopefully finished by Thursday 🤞🏼

When dropping off and collecting please park along Mary Rae Road (highlighted in red) and either walk across the grass at the swing park behind my house (highlighted in yellow) or walk down the lane (highlighted in green) and round the front of the houses.

All the cars in the street have been told to move so mary rae road will be busy, please allow extra time for this. I know it’s a total pain, thank you for understanding and patience over the next few days.

⚠️ Roadwords ⚠️

Hey all,

The main road into my estate is closed from 24th - 27th, you will still have access to my street during these dates.

There will also be resurfacing done to Brandon street and my street at the end of May. It’s not been made clear if there will be access to the street or not but you can park on Mary Rae road and walk across the grass at the park to bring you round the back of the houses. If you’d prefer not to walk on the grass, there is a lane from Mary Rae road down past the front of my house and you can walk round from there.

Any questions just ask. Hopefully I’ll know more about my street closure nearer the time so I can confirm where to park.

✨ Preferred Payment Method ✨

I’ve had a few queries of preferred payment methods recently.

Cash is my preferred payment method.
Why? Because as a small business this means we retain the full amount and don’t absorb any card or bank fees.

Card is accepted and I do have a card machine available.

Bank transfer is not accepted (unless previously agreed - these customers know who they are) as I don’t have the time to chase people for payments.

Hey everyone,

The council are demolishing and rebuilding a new park behind my house and are using the carpark you all use. They have said they will be there today and tomorrow.
You can still get into the carpark for drop off but won’t be able to sit and wait (I know some people do). There is another carpark across from my house, if you swing left at my house and up to the left there’s a carpark just there.

If you cannot attend your appointment please let me know!

I have had 4 separate people not show up over the past month, that’s almost £200 out of my pocket. I send reminder texts messages the afternoon before to every single customer, there’s ample time to give me a heads up.

I have a cancellation list waiting for space, by not letting me know means I don’t have time to fill the space.

Anyone who does miss their appointment or cancels within 24hours will be charge the full balance of the appointment. No future appointments will be booked until balance is cleared.

Sorry for the rant as I know this isn’t relevant to the majority of you.

Happy new year everyone! Wishing you all the best in 2024!

I’m still on holiday and will be back at work on the 4th, I will reply to all outstanding messages then. I’ve spent the Christmas holidays in a splint due to tendinitis in my right thumb, I’m going to be a bit slower than normal so please bare with me over the next few weeks while it heals.
