☀️🐾 Top Tips for Keeping Your Pets Safe in the Sun! 🐾☀️

Shade & Cool Surfaces: Ensure your pets have shady areas and cool surfaces to rest on when outside.
Pavement Check: If the pavement is too hot for the back of your hand for five seconds, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.
Hydration: Always provide clean, fresh drinking water to prevent dehydration.
Respiratory Care: Keep dogs with breathing issues away from direct sun.
Sunscreen & Sun Exposure: Prevention is key! Use only animal-specific sunscreen and limit sun exposure.
Outdoor Enclosures: Monitor the temperature in outdoor enclosures, as they can become hotter than the air temperature.
Spotting Sunburn:
Sunburn on dogs looks like pink, tender skin that may blister. If you see a heat burn, seek veterinary advice. In the meantime, cool the area with running water for pain relief.

Remember, just like humans, pets can get sunburned without protection.

So I told mummy I was taking her out and then I decided it was such a nice day so went and had a swim 🐾🐶🐾 despite her making me look a handsome boy after my groom. (Swimming makes me happiest)

TrendyTails is a new dog grooming salon in Kilburn, Belper.

My name is Sophie and I love spending time with our beloved dog.

I recently decided to turn my love for animals into a career, I decided to do Dog Grooming course with the reputable Sue Oliver
