If you went down to the woods (early enough) today you were in for a beautiful surprise....these two lovelies ππΎπβ€οΈ
Well due to the weather being a little kinder than yesterday we made it on some walks, albeit shorter, slower, mainly woody shaded ones ......and of course the Henry special splish splash splosh walk πΎπ€·ββοΈππ€£π©΅πβ£οΈ
Stanley spies a week ahead full of forecasted high temperatures π
As always when the sun puts it's hat on the heat and humidity levels will be monitored and if they reach unsafe levels for walkies home visits for toilet breaks (and the odd cuddle), or in some instances, a shortened walk will take place for all our furry friends home alone πΎ
Any pooches affected will be contacted privately and a plan for their care agreed πΎ
Please remember these decisions can sometimes be extremely difficult to make due to the changeable nature that is our weather, but as always the pooches safety takes priority, no risks will be taken πΎβ£οΈ
Me and Stanley, thank you for your support ππΎ
Summer has seemingly arrived, at least for a few days, and I do hope we are all enjoying it ππ
Please also make sure it's pleasurable for our furry family members, and remember all temperatures given on weather apps are taken in the shade, it's a different story in direct sunshine as can be seen by the temperature in our garden a few minutes ago.
Enjoy and stay safe β£οΈ

Crikey, what does that make you if you have five πͺπͺπ
Bit of a week! Not been a great one personally, what with an emergency dental appointment (and a lot of pain), broken electrics and then what we thought was a broken boiler it's been a tad 'testing', character building
π€£
Firstly I want to thank the pooches who had to change their walks, and their hoomans who worked from home that day, to help me get to my dental appointment. Thank you so so much π
Secondly I want to thank Another Power for coming out to our electric problem so quickly, for all their help and total support. Really cannot recommend them highly enough. Any electrical work needed you know who to call ππ
Thirdly a huge thank you to David Sellers our Mr Plumber Man for again coming to our boiler aid so quickly and for his total support. Again cannot recommend highly enough ππ
But most of all I want to thank all these furry souls, and a couple of others, for keeping me sane, making me smile when I really wanted to cry and for not giving one hoot that I hadn't been able to shower, wash my hair and probably looked like I'd been dragged through a hedge a million times ππ€£β£οΈ You truly are my saviours β€οΈ
Have a fabulous weekend all of you xx
Never under estimate the smiles a gorgeous mug shot can bring ππΎπ¦β£οΈ
Beautiful πΎβ€οΈ

From all of us, to all of you, have a happy weekend π
π
Oh yes, we is very very handsome Stanley ππβ£οΈ
Don't let that sunshine fool you....it's most definitely in cahoots with the rain distributer π€£π€£
'let's go have some fun' they said...
..so that's what we did πΎπΎπΎπΎβ£οΈ
Oh those ears πππππ
Well we've had a scrumptious start to the week ππΎ
We do hope yours has been just as delicious β£οΈ
We've had so many lovely walks today but I'm ending this Monday with Lily, our little Legend β£οΈ
Some of you may remember her, some won't, but today marks two years of us helping her cross over that special doggy rainbow bridge to hopefully a land of nothing but love, an eternity of love π β€οΈ
An amazing lady who was rescued from appalling conditions, riddled with infections, badly under nourished, brain damaged and who was found, along with many others living outside and presumably used for breeding.
Lily came to us as a foster, along with Mabel, for initially a few weeks. It wasn't expected that she would live very long. She was old and poorly. But with the help of medications, lots of love and good food she started to love life...and we couldn't let her go. She became our forever foster β€οΈ
She was one amazing lady, our legend. She had such a zest for life, for love and for foooood β£οΈ
Lily you were a meant to be in our lives. It was an honour to give you a part of our heart. If I could have one wish it would be that we would have found you, and Mabel, years and years earlier so you could have the life you should have had β€οΈ
Once again, in Lily's memory I ask anybody buying a puppy to please research the breeder, then research some more. No dog should have ended up in the state Lily was in, not ever π
Still in our hearts Lily, always. One very very special lady β€οΈ
Wishing our very own George and Connie a very Happy 7th Birthday π π₯³
Without their huge hearts our family would not be the wonderful furry unit it is now. They have welcomed, taught and loved (and shared their mum and dad) with their adopted sisters, and foster pooches, over the years. They are something very very special, and none of it could or would have been done without their approval π
We all love you to the moon and back a trillion times β£οΈ
Thank you to each and every one of these delicious lovebugs for this week πΎβ€οΈ
Total stars you are, all of you πβ£οΈ
πΎπ
See Martha, when you are a good girl you get to go out with your friends πΎπ€£
Maybe not quite an A* for behaviour but a very high end B+ πΎπ€£π
Normally I don't post any photos on here until I've updated the 'pawrents' first....
..but omg this picture β€οΈ
Think we'll start today with a little bit of sunshine πΎπ
doing their beautiful thing yesterday ππ
When a gorgeous little friend you haven't seen in a while asks if he can start coming out on regular walks with you, how can you refuse? πΎπ
Welcome back Timmy. Soooo good to see you again π₯°β£οΈ
Thank you too to Holly, Dory and Milosh for making his return so easy π
Please, please please do NOT EVER run/jog head on into dogs, never ever, and especially when they are wearing yellow.
George, and me, have just had two men, each with dogs of Setter size on long leads run full pelt at us and then barge past when they could clearly see I'd taken George into an entrance gateway to sit him down until they'd passed.
Instead they decided to go up the same entrance, when there's another literally 30 steps away. George calmly let the first pass. The second man nearly knocked me flying and his dog was on George. No apology for this, no comment whatsoever.
I am so so so so sick of people not having any courtesy or thought for others. I spend my life thinking about others, and their dogs, when I am out walking. I spend my life working with and trying my hardest to create a comfortable, enjoyable and safe walk for all the dogs I walk. Why are some people so incapable of doing this??!
It's incidents like this that have majorly helped create George's reactive issues. It's incidents like this that after months and months and months of bloody hard work by George that have once again had him reacting, and to be honest why wouldn't he???!
Think about others, keep your dogs under control it is really not hard to do!
And yes I did say something but clearly neither were interested, or bothered. Selfish, rude and totally arrogant specimens!
Just think, please! Then maybe we could all enjoy our outings. It really isn't that hard!
Just a strolling, Stanley style πΎππ
Sweet face of contentment ππβ€οΈ
