Homoeopathy - a great thing to use for preventative "medicine" and to keep your flock or herd healthy and happy :)
"You definitely need to go on the course to learn about how to use homoeopathy otherwise it is just a stab in the dark. The whole understanding of it, it’s so different, you have to get your head round the concepts, it’s completely opposite to what we have all learnt. It doesn’t matter how much you read the books, you need to go and speak to likeminded people who have used it for years, hear it from the horse’s mouth so to speak." Meg Thorpe, Beef Cattle in Herefordshire
A nice realistic summary why wool will always be THE fibre 👍🐏🐑
Everyon who eats (and grows) food should watch this excellent documentary film.

Oh dear. Surely there aren't people who actually believe we can teach wild carnivores to eat greenery...
From building a bridge across the Mara river for zebras and wildebeests to cross so that the crocodiles can’t hunt them to cutting the African savannah into half and segregating predators from prey and feeding the predators vegan pet feed…..
I have heard it all in my discourse with vegans and militant animal activists through the years.
If anyone thinks that I am exaggerating, there’s even a page named herbivorize predators for you to visit, but do note you will never be able to get those precious life minutes back again.

Ultimately, we must stop romanticising and over-sanitising the world for our kids, less they grow up having a distorted view of reality. It’s one of the reasons why we at EOM think veganism and militant animal activistism are taking a foothold.
It’s time schools and parents bring back and put more emphasis on farm excursions, abattoir visits, safari trips, wildlife documentaries, camping, survivor and hunting lessons, fishing trips, gardening and even home economics.
When we go back to the basics, the ageless Circle of Life reveals itself, guides and nourishes us.
One drawback though, we won’t have these entertaining vegan memes to slowly savour and ruminate over. 😉

Andrew provides an excellent, professional service with minimal stress to the animal. So much more humane and very much less stressful than a visit from the vet. And the caracase can then be fed to big cats, instead of having to be cremated. No waste and no pollution.
Please don’t touch or feed the animals that roam the moor.
Their stomachs can’t cope with ”human” food and can make them ill. Instead leave them to enjoy their natural diet grazing the vegetation found growing on the open moor.
By feeding and petting they become more attracted to roadside locations which in turn increases the risk of vehicle strikes.
When feeling threatened there is a chance they may bite, kick or charge.
Pass with space, respect and care
British wool - a great natural product with so many uses. Knitwear, woven fabrics, carpets, insulation, hanging basket liners, plant protection (keeps slugs and cabbage root fly away), duvet and mattress filllings and so many more still to be thought of! So much more sustainable than man-made, oil-based fibres - let's go forward with wool...
Many aspects of farming are expanding — and not always in a good way. Jason Goodwin argues that it needs re-balancing, with a return to multiple small family farms, neighbourly cooperation and a bolstering of the local community.
Haven't checked this out to confirm it, but would very nice if it were the real thing! :)
Just when you thought you couldn’t love nature any more 😀
I think all of us farmers already knew this! Just need to make sure everyone else does too.
Myles Allen: 'Eliminating methane emissions from global livestock farming entirely would shave a few hundredths of a degree off global temp. in 20 y time. Meanwhile, CO2 from fossil fuels is driving up global temperatures by 2/10ths of a degree per decade'

I think we always suspected this was the case. Horses have long memories!
Horses Arthur, William, and Harry, were great buddies when they were foals. Unfortunately, their owner was forced to sell Arthur, but had the chance to buy him back four years later. Arthur was brought back home, but the ultimate question was whether William and Harry would recognize their old frien...

If you haven't investigated the possibilties that homeopathy can offer you and your livestock to help reduce veterinary costs, and antiobiotic use, then this is your chance to do so. :)
