🐾 🥎🎾It's Grass Season! 🎾🥎🐾
While the tennis pros battle it out on the courts, our furry friends are enjoying their own kind of 'grass season' but did you know that grass seeds can pose a threat to your pets? These tiny seeds can easily get stuck in their paws, ears, and even eyes, leading to infections and discomfort. Here’s what you need to know to keep your furry friends safe during your outdoor adventures this summer.🌱
How to Prevent Grass Seed Injuries:
Check Regularly: After walks or playtime, inspect your pet's fur, especially between their toes, ears, and underbelly.
Groom Often: Regular grooming can help spot and remove any seeds before they cause issues.
Protective Gear: Consider using dog boots or other protective gear if you frequently visit areas with lots of tall grass.
Signs to Watch Out For:
🌱 Limping or excessive licking of paws
🌱 Head shaking or scratching at ears
🌱 Red, swollen, or squinting eyes
🏥 If you suspect a grass seed injury, don’t hesitate to bring your pet in for a check-up. Early removal is crucial to prevent complications.
