Do you remember Bobby? He came into BARK back in January 2018 with a broken leg, which was thankfully successfully operated on. A few years later he went in for a further operation but he's all good now. As you can see living life like he thinks he deserves.

Without you we couldn't have helped him. Thank you so very much

Appeal for information after dog found straying in Red Row

🐕 Our Animal Welfare officers are trying to track down the owner of this dog found straying in Red Row on January 13th.

She was in poor condition with a very severe ear infection, matted coat and discomfort in her mouth.

The dog was not microchipped and the owner has not come forward.

The dog is being cared for by local dog rescue charity B.A.R.K and will be re-homed once she is fully recovered.

Thank you to everyone who dropped radios/cd players off at the kennels. We now have enough to keep all the animals entertained. You are all amazing.

Wanted: 3 x SMALL radio and or CD player - at the BARK Kennels

To help keep the animals calmer during the building works, it would be very helpful if we had three CD players possibly with radios (The signal is not great up here.

A few more of Lily at Canine Adventures Northumberland freedom field today.

We very much appreciate the offer of this field, particularly during the building works, it will make all the difference to the dogs but in particularly Lily as she is unable to cross the border to Scotland.

A little update on Manny who came in 9 days ago. He's put on around a kilo and is looking 'more covered' around his ribs. The biggest change has been in his confidence. From being reluctant to go anywhere he is out on his walk and taking it all in. He is interested in the other dogs and the (fear based) barking towards them is reducing almost daily. He is the biggest cuddle monster.

He still has a way to go before rehoming but we just want to say thank you for letting us be there for him.

We received the sad news that dog Teddy passed away yesterday after a short illness.

Teddy joined us back in October 2015 and didn't stop long, his huge personality, loving nature and cheeky attitude won him instant fans. Teddy, unsurprisingly won a prize for the most adorable eyes. He bought joy and love into his owners live and we have no doubt has left a hole as huge as his heart. Safe journey beautiful lad.

1 year ago today at 12 30pm our gorgeous Lily became officially registered and ours.

We still have mixed emotions, but we absolutely adore Lily and that will continue for her whole life with us.

Thank you for every drop of support. Without you there is no way we could have even considered keeping Lily. Forever greatful ❤️.
