Beverley Christmas Tree Festival. 150 real trees each decorated by local businesses and groups. All in aid of charity. I was fortunate enough to visit during the Christmas carols. Truly enchanting
Last day is Sunday 8th. Why not visit the mini Christmas market in the parish rooms opposite too?!

BEVERLEY FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS CANCELLED DUE TO STORM DARRAGH

Organisers of Sunday’s Beverley Festival of Christmas have confirmed that the event has been cancelled due to high winds and rain forecast as a result of Storm Darragh.

A spokesperson of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: "We are devastated that the festival has been cancelled due to the latest weather forecast for heavy rain and severe winds scheduled this Sunday.

"Over six months planning has gone into the event and whilst we fully appreciated residents, visitors and traders will be extremely disappointed, the safety of all involved is our primary concern and this decision has not been taken lightly”

“We will communicate with all traders and stallholders to advise around refunds, and we would like to thank them all for their understanding and support at this time.”
