DRY! A word we don’t often hear at the moment.
We have no standing water or thick mud. Many dog fields are situated on land that has historically been very wet for farming and are now sadly suffering.
Hoping the sun shows up soon and dries every thing out for the farmers, horse, home and dog field owners and everyone else who has been affected by the recent flooding.
A treat from the Red Arrows today, a 30 minute display for those that were in the field! ✈️

Wow we’ve had an exciting week!
We are very proud to have been shortlisted as finalists by esteemed judges for both New Business of the Year and Pet Service of the Year at the Pet Industry Federation Awards, and also Best Pet Business at the Animal Star Awards!!!
These are national awards and we are honoured to have been selected. We didn’t win, but we can say that we were the ONLY dog field in the UK that made it to either, and that we are officially one of the top six pet services in the UK too!
It really was the pet version of the Oscars. We were joined by Kate Middleton’s brother who presented along with his spaniel. This was followed by an incredible presentation by UHearts who are caring for hundreds of thousands of displaced pets in Ukraine, with a special message from the Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
What a night it was - some great networking opportunities and a table who liked tequila a little too much…

The field has sadly been host to many ‘last walks’ over the last couple of years and it’s always been an honour to be able to provide security during that last day.
This week it was our turn as we said goodbye to beautiful 15 year old Izzy, who you will have all seen on one of the field posters.
She loved her potter in the field, had lots of chicken and a peaceful ending. ♥️

Geese!

The geese are back, which means autumn is upon us 🥶.
They fly over the field every morning and every evening at the moment, shouting as they go. If you have an early or a late slot you might get to see them.
I love watching them, it’s always a happy day when we heat them return ❤️
Look at all the ribbons we have with lovely messages for our four pawed friends on them 🥰
Came for a check round and paddling pool clean whilst we have a very rare free afternoon due to the heat. It’s very warm out there in the field but cool, breezy and shaded under the trees 🌳
