Well that's my lovely old lorry gone tonight, the end of an era but great to finish at the top of my league winning Equine Transporter of the year at the Equine Business Awards for 2021. Amazing to be asked back to judge this year and I wish the four finalists, Avalon Transport, AS Transport, Trot 24, and Stealth Horse Transport all the very best of luck for this year's final in October, all very worthy and I look forward to meeting you all on the night.

I thank all my clients of the last 15 years, the ponies that have been rescued from all sorts of proper bo****ks sh*te, the breakdowns on the motorways and even the flaming donkeys who were adamant they weren't going on...... but they did!!!!!! To the owners, the good the bad and the ugly, the RSPCA, the Police, the local Councils, The Donkey Sanctuary and many more.....I really do Thank you

So for me, I sign out out as a transporter........ but I carry on my good work with horses, care and rehab, along side my friend Sarah of White Rose Vet Physio and look forward to welcoming you at home at our new Rehab Area at Hampston Hill Farm, Long Lane, Beverley, where horses also have access to the fantastic INDIBA ... the almost "magic wand" of horse repair. Took my Mum on my road trip today, she’s 77 and still likes to ride her horse daily but I was heading north and she does like a bit of A66 scenery 🙄 A lovely drive and sometime later we picked up this beautiful little 7 hh lady and delivered her to her lovely new home, long but lovely day 🥰

Hope all my clients had a Christmas that was bearable, we've been so busy! Emergency Vet runs on boxing day..... and no it wasn't a colic and thankfully I'm looking forward to taking the lovely big boy back to his owner tomorrow. The lorry is all over Yorkshire for the next few days. Hopefully then it might give me a break....... wondering if any one fancies a beach trip towards the end of January ?? Tides depending, inbox me for details

‘Coast to Coast’ today to collect this big (18.2hh) beautiful chap and bring him home to the East Riding. Great to get a job because I have a 7.5 tonne! Normally I get out bid by the ‘little’ lorry people as they don’t have to have the overheads (qualifications, operators licence and safety checks) us ‘bigger’ lorry operators do. 🚚🐴 🎢🗼🏖

Back to transporting horses, no cab travel though, social distancing and one to one handling. Due to other work commitments I will be only doing local jobs for the foreseable future, Vet runs, Yard runs etc. Many thanks 😃
