Hi everybody, Betsy and her family would like to thank you for all of your hard work, thoughts and prayers in finding Betsy. She was found by a lovely family in Gorst Hill, Rock in a hay barn. This family managed to catch her because her front paw was stuck in her harness. She has a small cut on her back paw, she feels incredibly skinny, very matted and is completely and utterly exhausted. But she is home and we wouldn’t have been able to do this without the support of you all. She is currently sleeping on the sofa wrapped in several blankets and has had a good meal.

If you would like to follow Betsy’s further adventures, she does have a instagram page. .grylls on instagram (recently changed due to SAS survival qualifications).

Our little girl is a survivor, brave, and so unbelievably clever. Again, Debbie, Danny, Ellie, Jordan and most importantly BETSY would like to thank you for your kind words and prayers.

UPDATE- PLEASE SHARE.
Betsy’s family and DogLost would like to reassure everyone that everything is still being done behind the scenes to bring Betsy home. We continue to rely on the support of you all but would like to ask you to trust us that silence is sometimes very necessary to put things in place that may ultimately lead to a successful outcome. Please bear with us and be assured we are doing everything in our power to bring Betsy home. For the sake of Betsy please walk quietly and just observe and call in sightings.

UPDATE. Betsy was last seen in the Hawksbatch area today at around 11, between the trimpley seats and the pipelines. We have left food (both dog and human in the hopes she’ll be able to smell it), her beds and blankets and have left posters all round the forest. she is still wearing her purple harness and a collar with a tag.

people keep saying not to have strangers coming up and around the forest. i understand. however i truly think it’s better to get all people out and looking for her as much as possible. if you happen to spot betsy in the forest, please do not try to chase or catch her, do not yell loudly or make any sudden movements. stay low to the ground and tail her quietly and calmly as much as possible and contact one of us by phone.

we sometimes lose signal in the forest but please, keep trying, we will pick up. we will be out again at first light in the morning. if you walk often in that area or know it well, please keep looking. she is scared, tired and hungry, but we know she is there and we are desperate to get her home.
