Our beautiful boy Badger 6 years old rescued originally from Greece. Unsure of breed but come as a lab cross; is looking for a forever home just for him. Sadly he does not get on well with other animals in the home so needs to be in a home where it is just him having all the hugs. He is such a wonderful boy and fine with other dogs outside the home. He loves hugs but also loves his own space and peace and quiet. A young couple or single person would be perfect for badge as too much noise can make him anxious. He’s done so well in the year we have had him since his human passed away last year and he is now ready for a new home. He has lived with our cat and dog but has been known to bully them so sadly we can’t keep him forever even though we would love too. He’s now perfect weight and learnt how to run off lead in the woods. His recall is much better but still is stubborn so we only let him off in the woods and ensure he goes back on lead 5/10 mins before the end of walk. He always comes back but in badgers time! He’s extremely gentle when taking treats and loves children. I wouldn’t suggest he lives with children as he can be funny when eating food if he feels threatened. Please do inbox me if you feel like badger is the doggy for you.

Hey all! with the cost of living we are doing our best to keep costs down but from 1st of February we will be putting prices up slightly. I thought I would give you heads up in plenty of advance. New prices are as follows

Dog walking: £15 for up to an hours walk for first dog £10 per extra dog
Small animals (rodents, snakes etc) £7 per night for first pet £5 per extra pet
Cat sitting: £20 per day/night for first cat plus £10 per cat
Dog Sitting: £30 per day for first dog plus £20 per extra dog; £35 per night for first dog £25 per night extra dog.

We also now offer photo shoots with a professional photographer. Pictures start from £20 (incl frame)

Ashley is a large staff type, complete male
We do not have sufficient information about his past or age
We haven’t managed to get him to the vets to be neutered due to his nervous aggression 💔

Ideally we need a very experienced foster home to get his behaviour with people and animals better, and his general well-being
A permanent home will also need to have lots of patience and tolerance for a dog with his kind of shortcomings
Once he gets to know you, he is the sweetest boy. He is just heartbroken, lost and confused and his only method is to be aggressive and bark and growl,and tear up his things

Ashley is going to be a lot of work for a foster or a new owner, and it’s very hard for us to give a good description of his needs outside of an experienced owner

It will take a long time for Ashley to become comfortable and accept love, but love is what he really needs, he is very damaged from being given up on 💔
If you or someone you know would be a good home or foster for Ashley please get in touch, remaining in the kennels is not doing him any favours
This beautiful boy deserves to find his forever home
