Hello all of you lovely people 👋
Due to my ongoing health problems, I have decided to step back from breeding altogether. So Jazzcatzs is no more 🙁

I’d like to say huge thanks to the breeders who stood by me when other so called “ethical breeders” started slinging mud.

To all of my loyal followers, there are only a handful of breeders that I would recommend and they are;

I have received a few requests for a Giant Maine c**n.
“Just give me a really big giant kitten, colour is not important".
" I want an XXL boy, my husband loves big cats".
Those are from a few messages I have received.
XXL Maine C**n ?? Are you serious? Do you believe in this?
How can an honest breeder guarantee the size and weight of a kitten once it's grown up, which can take up to 4 years?
No matter if the parents are large or rather medium-sized, in a litter some babies can grow very well and exceed the size of their parents and others will remain rather medium-sized. But to this day no one can tell you which baby will be the biggest.
Did your mom know how big you were going to be when you were born? Same about the health - even the healthiest parents can have an Ill child...
The neutered (sterilized) cat will always be bigger than a breeding cat living under a hormonal influence.
The average weight for a female Maine C**n is between 3.5-5.5kg, for a male between 5.5-8kg.
Of course there are exceptions...
For a Maine C**n it is not the weight that you have to look at but rather the size, the length of the body and the height on legs.
When you want to adopt a magnificent breed cat, you must of course look at the parents and their genetic tests to make sure that the bloodline is beautiful and healthy. However, for the rest, you have to be willing to love and care for him regardless of his size. Because he will love you in the same way whether he weighs 4, 7 or 10 kilos.

And lastly, the Maine C**n, besides its size, has many other very important privileges such as their intelligence and incredible character.
I am in love with this breed mainly for their character and beauty. Their personalities are like no other cat breed I’ve known.
Cheeky 2 year old humans in a cat suit describes them very well.

So after a lot of messing around, we have decided to keep Serra. She is already as big as her mum at 5 months and has the best rbf I have seen in any of our kittens.
