The emotional significance of a picture.
This isn't a great photo. It's not a good composition. It's not well focused. The lighting is poor. I look a haggard mess. But there's more raw emotion in this moment than in a thousand curated and manicured selfies.
Nothing is more humbling. Nothing more magical. Nothing overwhelms me more with gratitude and love and respect, than when momma wolfie lets me rest my head down with her in her puppy den. When she trusts me to hold her babies close, cradled in my arms.
There is nothing so precious and tender as that tiny little life, pressed against you, settling against your warmth, relaxing to your wavering heartbeat.
Am I 'momma wolf'? Maybe. But only because of the trust, love and courage of real mommas. Thank you, Lady Moonshine. Thank you for trusting me. I will do everything in my power to protect these babies, and make sure they have the happiest lives ever imagined possible.
Socialisation doesn't start now. It started long ago, winning the love and trust of Moonshine, so that if I ask now, with respect, she will allow me to be part of her family, right from the start 💗
I'm not crying. Honest.

Oh my gosh Moonies, you've made the build up stressful! We've been waiting all week.... and the last two days, you've really kept us on our toes!
The first... a massive girl.... was touch and go, but she cleared the way and so far we have 5, all appearing at a steady rate! 🥰💕💗 1 girl and 4 boys! 😱 When she's all done, we'll give everyone a proper clean up for the day 🥰
