We've had such gross mud all winter, the Doctors long line training in the woods took a winter break - I could barely keep my feet WITHOUT a handful of giant puppy! Now, we're back into it full swing, in 'catch up' mode. I'm encouraging gentle pottering rather than mad zoomies, rewarding him for checking in with me and disengaging from interesting sights and smells. As it's one of our first lessons after a break, I'm doing a lot of pairing words with his natural actions, rather than giving too many instructions. I'll post an updated video in about a month and hopefully you'll see a lot more responsiveness to active guidance.
