Little Tartan all wrapped up warm, we had the first snowfall of the winter today! So make sure you’re wrapping up warm for any adventures! Particularly very young or elderly dogs and thinner skinned dogs!

We are officially back home from our holidays! And while I think Archer is ready to sleep for a month, I’m ready to hit the ground running! Little Isla has been working hard on impulse control and managing puppy biting. She was getting incredibly overaroused and overstimulated by interactions with people so we are focusing on encouraging calm behaviours when she wants to interact. We used shaping to encourage her to naturally lay down and settle, providing a good starting point to create positive interactions. She did super well! If you are struggling with puppy biting or other common puppy issues, get in touch to see how we can help!

Is your dog engaged, focused and wanting to work with you on your walks? If your answer is no, try playing games, doing tricks etc on your driveway or in the house before you leave!
