Mondays faces. Slinky enjoyed he’s first experience of daycare . Me & Llara enjoyed a lovely stroll in the woods with codi Alfie willow slinky & Bertie. Honey & olive enjoyed lunchtime cuddles with Emily 🥰

Thursdays doggy’s. The sun was shining all day too a little teaser of spring we spotted some daffodil shoots on our walk so we think they will spring early . We can’t wait for the bluebells to bloom so we can get some lovely photos . Only 49 days til spring

Freya showing off her new wellies . The mud daddy has been out in full swing this week. It really makes no difference as to weather we walk in the woods or fields at the moment there’s thick mud wherever we walk. And a few puddle loving divas today (cough ) flo & willow. As always we make our best efforts to clean them all as best as we can before returning them home.

So what is a meet & greet and why is it necessary??

So meet & greets are COMPULSORY every new dog that is boarded here at tlc will be invited for a meet and greet session prior to board. No meet & greet = no boarding.

So what happenes at a meet & greet session?
Owner and dog are given a slot to come to my home for an introduction. This is to ensure the safety of all dogs, children & family pets on the premises. During your meet & greet your dog will have an opportunity to familiarise itself with my home , do a bit of scent work. Your dog will also have an opportunity to meet my daycare dogs who will be here during their stay. Sometimes during peak boarding season I may ask that 2 owners attend at the same session with their dogs if I am boarding them at same time and they have never met. During the meet & greet I will assessing the temperament of the dog . I will also have an opportunity to liase with owner and ask relevant questions about dogs diet, routine and behaviors . A meet & greet session usually lasts 30 mins .

Tenderly loved canines will refuse any dogs that show aggression to other dogs, children or pets.

During your meet & greet session you will be given some forms these are COMPULSORY and as per my license terms I cannot board your dogs without relevant paperwork.
The dog warden can drop in at any time without notice to carry out a random spot checks and he will want to see I have the relevant paperwork for the dogs in my care.
Returning dogs that are familiar to tlc do not require a meet & greets but you may be asked to update relevant paperwork as and when I need it
