It’s that time of year again to get your whites out and start practicing your plaiting skills..

Classes will be run concurrently as is our format...

OBEC Livery owners have a discounted fee and should Enter Class 4 x each Test they wish to ride

Example: If they wish to ride all three tests then please enter class 4 x 3 Times.

The Dressage event is OPEN TO ALL

Riding School clients can have a go by entering Class 5 which is the hire of the horse/ pony plus ONE test.

If you want to ride additional tests then enter the additional test by class.

Date of Autumn Series 1 has been pushed back due to some logistical difficulties and will now be as published above on the 22nd of September .

This may suit some but possibly not all but that’s just the way it is .

All classes can be entered via our bookings site

These are the new tests which almost the same as the earlier years but there have been changes to the collective marks.

BD shop have them in stock online at www.bhs.org.uk

Show attire is preferred but if you are just starting out you can enter Class 1 and come in whatever tack/ clothing you generally ride in, riding boots ( NO yard boots or trainers NO jeans)

So true ….

If you give your child a pony, they will want to ride. You’ll buy them the best pony you can find, followed by a hat, boots and all the other things pony.

You look for a local stables to ride at where you start to socialise with the horsey community...and then life as you know it, will end.

Before you know it, they want to go to shows so you join The Pony Club…there will be no more lazy weekends watching TV.

You will see more sunrises than you ever thought possible.

Every spare minute of your time will be spent driving horseboxes and enduring a crazy addiction to practice for the next show.

Your house may be a mess, and your car will be dirty. All because you gave your child a pony.

Your weekends will be spent freezing or burning to death on a fold up chair. And their weekends will be spent gaining confidence and friends, learning new skills and having fun and getting dirty!!!!

You will be there the day he or she takes the first few steps of canter, the first taste of a jump, first rosette, first win. And they will make you SO proud.

Other parents will congratulate you, but you feel weird saying thank you because it's not you on the pony, it’s your child. It's everything that they did, they achieved.

Right before your eyes, your little boy/girl will be transformed from the baby who bounced around on their rocking horse into an exceptional young horse enthusiast.

When you give your child a pony, you give them more than just something to ride. You give them a sport, a talent, hope and dreams. Friends, a new family, a place to learn about life, room to grow as a person where they can push their limits, and bravery, and courage, and memories.

They will have ALL of these things, simply because you gave your child a pony.

Because you gave your child a pony, you too will develop new/lifelong friendships, developed solely from the same passion for the sport.

You will have an equestrian family because you gave your child a pony.

Then one day, many years from today…they will be in their room and a certain trophy will catch their eye.

They will pick it up and realise instantly that when you gave them a pony, you also gave them a childhood that they would never forget.

At this point, you realise that everything you gave up along the way and sacrificed was totally worth it…..

All because you gave your child a pony...

BEEKY

15.3hh TB … Never raced. Been with us since a 3yr old. Now 12yrs . He is well liked and good to hack jump low level dressage and lessons to improve your riding.

Good to handle loves a groom.

Looking for a middweek daytime loan @ £250 pcm for 2 mornings or afternoon or one of each.

Must be competent to handle, tack up ride on own and finish off to high standard.
