Next up is Willow!
Having just completed Puppy Foundation, Willow and her hooman have been varying their locations to help Willow manage stimulating environments.
Look how content and calm she is in the video clip, focusing, beautiful loose lead and her hooman also gave her ‘go sniff’ time which is hugely important to a puppy’s wellbeing and helps them learn about their surroundings.
If your puppy pulls you to ‘go sniff’, don’t let them ‘go sniff’. It will only reinforce the behaviour you don’t want … pulling!! If they, like Willow ‘go sniff’ politely then this is the perfect scenario.

Meet the gorgeous Henry!
Henry LOVES nothing more than a good ole play and he certainly did plenty of that during class!
But when it comes to focus, boy can this little chap focus!!
His hooman started off ‘luring’ him with a treat on the end of his nose. She’s now managing to walk a few steps, treat in hand but tucked up in that ‘neutral …into body’ position and then reward!!
Just wow!! What an achievement at such a young age.

No bending down for Sprouts hooman to get the treat on that nose!
You’ll see from the video that hands are in a ‘neutral … to body’ position. This is encouraging Sprout to look up and keep his focus on his hooman.
Also notice how much feedback and praise he’s getting!! Keeping that engagement going.

This beautiful boy is a typical spaniel. Loves life and loves sniffing!! Spaniels naturally ‘weave’ when they walk to scoop up all of those delightful smells to explore.
Watch how his amazing hooman ‘marks’ with a ‘yesssss’ when he’s creating the position she’s about to reward.
Even manages a ‘leave it’ too when he picked up a random inedible object!!

Fab finale last night for Puppy Plus Intermediate class! May I proudly introduce our JustPuppies Puppies…. Milo, Lila, Poppy and Kylo!
Fun, games and laughter and even a 1st birthday party for Kylo during class where the hoomans and woofies all got some tasty treats.
Keep being brilliant ….. the focus, ability to cope with ever-increasing distraction levels and response to your puppy’s name and recall have got better and better each week.
It’s been an absolute pleasure …. Have a wonderful Christmas all and do keep in touch 🐾

Allow me to introduce
George … aka Gorgeous George. His fun and happy personality has made me smile each week. When he wasn’t frolicking with his girl ‘Dash’, he was learning to focus and calm, improving week on week!
Russo… this boy has been a superstar, smashing all the training and gaining confidence around the other pups. And boy did those legs go like the clappers tonight in the races!!
Mako…… such a beautiful puppy who week on week has nailed the training and taken everything in her stride!! Lovely to have her little people at training too! Winner of musical hulas!! #girlpower!
Benson…. You’ve been superb in class and being what a Labrador puppy should be… it’s all about having fun, focus, food (and the odd cone!)☺️
Dash…. You have been a wonderful addition to class and was a mixture of zoomies and chill!! The ‘emergency stick’ had her flying around the room tonight!!
Nelly, our beautiful choccie kangaroo!! To have SO much energy when first in the hall to now having the skills to calm, is just amazing. And a shark vacuum wouldn’t have sucked up those kibble races any quicker!
And our adorable gladiator of a puppy … Hercules (Herc to his friends … or anyone with a nice tasty treat!). If you want to see a puppy with focus, he’s your pup!! Nothing phases this laid back chap.

What an amazing finale full of fun and lots of laughter!
The puppies have gained focus, confidence and friends whilst learning so many life skills along the way.
Introducing our JustPuppies puppies…..
Buffy, Harvey, Taco, Benji, Rolo, Ralph and Teddy.
Buffy has learnt how to be confident around bigger dogs and she’s been keeping them in line!!
Harvey has been practising how to keep motivated during class, our big teddy bear!!
Taco has made friends with every single puppy in class, learning to focus when asked.
Benji has had a huge transformation, building confidence slowly week by week and learning to enjoy others company, no matter their size and personality.
Rolo was super excited when he first came to class. Every week he’s learnt to calm and switch off from the distractions. Oliver and Rolo stormed the fun races!!
Ralph…. What a little superstar. Practising his newly learnt skills with increasing distraction levels. Grown each week in skill set and inches!
Teddy….. all the boys loved beautiful Teds. And Teddy was quite content laying on her blanket in between exercises with her toy and chew! The recall race ‘chew throwing technique’ was legendary!!
Keep enjoying your puppies and take those newly learnt skills into every day life.

First up the bromance … you may have heard of the super duo of Fred & Ginger BUT not as super as these pair of spaniels … Fred & Gingey!!

Doing it for the girls tonight was the utterly wonderful Sacha. Having swapped classes to ensure she was at her happiest, she is truly loving life.
Storm - what can I say? Anything you can do, Storm can do better!! Such a little superstar and he has gained soooo many life skills along the way! Well done to his young handler too!
Jasper, Jasper, Jasper. Let’s just say, everyone needs a Jasper in their lives. A fun, beautiful pup who learned lots and just wanted to play with Fred (oh and kiss Sacha!)
And last up is Milo….
He was a quiet boy initially, taking things at his own pace. His pace tonight? Zooooooomies!!!!! 🏎️
