📣 Agility Wise Members 📣

Our AW Online Training Club is now fully up to date.

My latest training plans have been published on your member pages on Agility Wise. The focus points have been layering and skills at distance especially Pull Through independence plus the glorious Pivot with Collection! A variety of weave skills are also included in both editions plus obstacle discrimination with the Dog Walk and Tunnels.

I look forward to receiving member videos for feedback on the full or part use of the maps and guidance to help you all. Nice to see I haven’t lost my touch as many of these skills are being seen in competition up and down the country so fingers crossed the skills will transfer to the competition ring too.

📣 AW Members - Your AW Online Training Club (OTC) is now up to date including full details of my training plans through April and early May for you to take a look at.

The OTC is one of the many benefits for our Members, the below video is a sneaky peak at what’s included in the latest 2 editions of our Advanced level.

15th April edition ….. is a toughie! Focussing on verbal skills, layering, includes Dog Walk and AFrame plus the speedy slices of Push Round and Threadles!

1st May edition ….. focuses on control and verbal after fast tunnel exits, emphasis on the Push Round Family and more practise of the Dog Walk and A Frame.

Our awesome Jumping Grids series with Joanne Tristram concluded yesterday …… huge thanks to Jo for your expertise and support with each partnership.

Super proud of each student who attended, who worked hard in their homework, the improvement was remarkable especially in the small medium group - amazing.

The aim of the series was to teach the young dogs (over 1 year) in our community the essential skill of jumping before we start adding more speed and longer sequences. For the large dogs to learn how to collect and read jump distances to keep the poles up whilst preventing injury. Then for the small medium group either to school young dogs or to troubleshoot some confidence issues. The difference in all dogs over the 3 month period was remarkable with more work to do!

As a sport scientist I am obsessed with how dogs move, I wish I didn’t see what I can see at times but I’m normally correct and I’m grateful to support all my students be the best they can be with this knowledge.

The weather, the dogs, the handlers, the banter and the coach all rocked and I’m super proud to host yet another successful series of seminars at AWHQ. Thanks everyone ###
