Kennel Gallery 2024

We no longer offer meet and greet appointments for new clients but instead require at least one successful daycare trial (more for puppies) ahead of any boarding booking. The reason for this is that we often have reactive/ anxious dogs in our care and allowing strangers to walk through our facility can cause them stress, and the dogs' well-being is our main priority.

During a daycare trial, we have lots of 1 to 1 interaction with your dog/s, allowing them to get used to us, our routine, and see how they settle within our environment. We socialise your dog/s where breed, age, size, and temperament are appropriate to allow them to make new friends if desired.

We provide honest feedback on collection and we will always try our best to work with you, if we feel it is in your dogs' best interest to do so.

Unfortunately not all dogs are suited for a kennel environment and if we feel that your dog is unhappy, we will suggest alternative accommodation for them but we pride ourselves on giving every dog a chance to join our Dyers Moor Farm family.

Yesterday Amy attended a Dog First Aid course with Allwinds Dog First Aid to keep up to date with the latest guidelines and processes should we need them in an emergency. ❤️‍🩹
'Frederick' was very well behaved and stood almost like a statue for Amy to practice some bandage techniques. 🐾
It was a great session and was lovely meeting some other local doggy business owners.
Would highly recommend! 🙌

😋🐷Our Delicious Rare Breed Pork Is Back! 🐷😋

A little bit about our pork...

🌿Our pigs are the perfect combination of breeds including Oxford Sandy & Blacks, Gloucester Old Spots and Duroc. Duroc is a commercial breed and provides a good size carcass and then the mix of OSB & GOS (rare breeds) adds to the delicious flavours. Our pigs are used to keep down our woodland areas which provides them with plenty of enrichment as pigs love nothing more than a dip in a freshly dug wallow! 🐷💧Bruce our resident Boar produces chunky piglets and our lovely sows are great mums, often raising litters of 10 piglets or more! 🐽

The upkeep of our free range pigs does come at an extra cost but we believe the quality and taste of the pork is worth the extra pennies 🌿

🐾*Important Information Update*🐾

Due to recent issues in regards to cancellations and non payers, unfortunately we have been left with no choice but to alter our booking system.

We still require a 50% non refundable deposit upon booking to reserve your dog/s space in the diary but we will now require the remaining 50% balance to be paid at least 14 days before their stay.

A reminder message will be sent out on the 14 day deadline and if monies are not received on the day then unfortunately we have no choice but to remove your booking from the diary.

As a family run small business, we are devastated to have to implement stricter rules however we have bills to pay too and cannot afford to be left vulnerable to those that have left us out of pocket.

If a last minute booking occurs (less than 14 days notice of a new booking) then we will require full payment to secure your space in the diary.

We only have 11 kennels and receive multiple enquries daily, so in order to manage our spaces efficiently and fairly we have to follow our booking process.

For those of you pencilled in the diary with less than 14 days before your dog/s are due to visit us, I will be in touch to arrange balance of payment.

We are sorry to those customers who have been exceptionally supportive but unfortunately we have been stung a few times in the last few weeks and in order for us to keep running our business, we need to cover ourselves.

On a brighter note, it's been great meeting new people and welcoming new guests to our kennels, so appreciate you all spreading the word.

April was a busy month...🐶🐷🐑

Let's hope that May brings us more sunshine 🌞😎

Duke (our new Jacob Ram) and a small flock of Jacob ewes and lambs have joined us here on the farm, they've all settled in nicely 🤗🐑

We've welcomed lots of new guests and still more booking in... we love what we do 🥰🤗🐶🐾

We will also have another batch of our delicious pork available soon, keep an eye on our page 😋🌭

The snow is finally melting after a super wet Sunday here on the farm 🌧❄️
Although the snow has been beautiful, the ice rink that it left behind wasn't quite so fun for us 🙈🤣🐶🐑🐾🐷

We hope all our family, friends and customers are keeping safe from the storms. 🌧🌪 We suffered a bit of damage here on the farm but nothing we haven't been able to fix and knowone got hurt 🤗🌳🧱 Enjoy this video of Gloria's little piglets playing amongst some fresh straw - the storms certainly haven't dampened their weekend 🥰🐷

2022 started super busy for us here on the farm, but we're not complaining 🤗 Bruce and his two current ladies (Gloria & Gayna) are now finally in winter housing, Gloria is started to round up so more piglets to come in the next few months. 🐽🤩 Peggy's litter of mini Peggy's are causing havoc, not too long until they are moved to their new run just before weaning ☺🐷 (They quite enjoyed the Xmas tree) 🌲 (Excuse the commentary 🤣) We've finally upgraded Grandad's use of transport, the dogs seem to enjoy the taxi service around the farm 🐕🛻🛺 We also had the gorgeous Meg come to stay for the weekend 🤗🐕 Roll on the rest of the year with lots of new exciting things to come...# 🎊🤞🐕🐷🐑🌱
