Morwenna today.

I always show the good the bad and ugly!
She was actually pretty good. It was a bit breezy and this is totally new surroundings, and she was relying on only me and she doesn’t know me yet. So overall very pleased with how she was. She’s forward going and just a bit hyper, she throughly enjoys being busy so I am excited to see how she goes tomorrow. I’ll get company and see how we get on going out on the tarka trail. Pleased she came over to things, good day!

This mare wants to work, I can see her enjoying funrides!

Flora is coming home. She's been on loan and the loaner is now pregnant. If anyone wants part share then she will be out at Yarde south of Gt Torringon. This will turn into a full time loan from the yard. 13.3hh well built 14yr old mare. Done everything. Not ideal for hunting as she will bu**er off with you. Loves fun rides. Very safe on the beach/moor in traffic. Barefoot. Plenty of other people to ride out with to show you the routes and you can go directly onto the Tarka Trail. Never kicked or bitten. No under 18's please and no novices.

Hello! I haven’t posted here in a while but I’m back. Meet Morwenna, she’s a 13.1hh (ish) Dartmoor Hill pony. She is with me for sales livery so if you like the look of her pop me a message. She’s only been very lightly started so I’m going to continue to back her and see how she gets on. She’s seems a very sweet calm pony in the stable especially as this is a new place for her. I’m looking forward to seeing her progress! 🙂 P.

Keen bloody bean today. Had a week off due to work and farrier and general things getting in the way and I knew from the moment I walked into the yard he was just in one of those moods. Absolutely loved his hack today though. Very very forward with a full set of shoes on now.

So day 6 of working on Monarch and this is where we are at. Hannah’s first sit. What a great Easter.

Monarch was fantastic yesterday. Very very forward we even had our first couple of trots. He was so keen for 80% of the ride he didn’t want to stop and stand! He loves his work. Lots stopping and standing the whole way around, standing to chat to pedestrians too which he got a bit fidgety but we did make him stand until we said to go. We stopped at every junction which was good. This was through the estate which had so much going on it was a real test to see how much he would listen, the go go part was fine but we did a lot of halts to keep reminding him. Lovely to see he has a lot of confidence and he’s really picking up turning very well now. Practiced tight circles and figures of eight on both reins where we could. He just wants to get on with it, he’s a very willing horse. Not a bad bone in his body.
He stood well and halted when asked in this video but just didn’t quite understand the standing still part because he’d just had to stand for five minutes just seconds before, but he did stand afterwards. He had conditioner on his coat so my reins just kept slipping through my hands, I’ll bring gloves next time haha!

Monarch had a week off because he clipped his hoof and went a little lame. No videos of us today as we just did a reminder session which he remembers everything but has trouble with turning on his right rein. But I managed to capture this low helicopter with him today. He doesn’t care about ANYTHING that should be scary. Amazing dude.

Suzie , the pony that stole all of our hearts. 8 months together and it feels like we have had her forever , from her little whiny and buck when she sees us arrive and gallops over , to the way she calls to my son as soon as he walks away from her . shes a once in a lifetime pony and will be with us forever

Love, love love our darling Suzie . My son is in love with her and her with him . This kid was very novice, literally just having lead rein rides on his sisters shetland and on my ploddy mare. Now look at them , she looks after him and makes life so fun . Even with a nasty accident in the yard with a cut face she was just perfect and has let us help her and has healed better than we ever imagined. Suzie is just perfect

Hi everyone. I have been a little quiet due to personal reasons I needed time out. But I am back and I’m a much better place since lockdown. Funny old time wasn’t? Anyway anyone remember Pugwash? He was one of the exmoors I handled but was rehomed, his current owner sent me some videos of him for an update. What a different pony he looks now. With less manhood he’s turned into a sweet matured boy with a bit of character. I was lucky enough to still see Annie on a regular basis and hopefully that will continue as I am fond of exmoors and she’s quite a character.

So on here and on sister page Weaving Dreams (more the rescue page) I will be sharing a horse I bought over a year ago (yes me and my mum are a bit soft when it comes to actually rehoming horses!!!) I will share updates with Bili the Tb mare and if you like the look of her once I have some weight and muscle I will be looking to rehome her. The page should be a lot more active now.
I found Shifra the Arab a beautiful home down liskeard she’s spoilt rotten and clicked so well with her new owner and became instant friends with the other horse there. Success!!

With Suzie in her new home it was time to get another project in. Been waiting a long time to get this lady. Shifra is a purebred Arab. She will be for sale but for now we will be working with her to get the best out of her and match her up with a suitable home later on.
I still have two sales liveries available little 12.2hh amber who’s perfect child’s pony and also I now have Cracker Jack who’s an excellent project for someone. He just needs bringing back into work 14.2hh approx coloured cob. Please message for details.
