This is a polite reminder to our clients to please provide us with at least 72 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
As a small business we really do require this much notice to allow us time to try to fill the space.
Although we take deposits for bookings, the price of the deposit only covers a small amount of the cost of the missed appointment. In the past month we have lost over £200 of business after deposits.
We understand that mistakes happen but these costs really take their toll on our small business. We also appreciate that sometimes emergencies happen and it is unavoidable to cancel your appointment at short notice which is why we take the deposits for bookings.
We offer a Free email reminder service which we urge our clients to sign up for but ultimately it is the client’s responsibility to ensure they remember their appointment so please make a note of your booking when you make it.
If you have signed up for email reminders but haven’t received an email, please check your junk folder or contact us to check that we have the correct email address on file for you. If you would like to sign up for email reminders please message us.
We’re very sorry to sound like we’re having a moan as we really appreciate all of our wonderful customers, but to keep the salon going we need to ensure that we are using our time sufficiently.
