I have wanted to do this theme for such a long time, so was honoured when my friend asked me if I would style her son’s first birthday.

The brief was ‘He likes Paddington Bear ’… Did I deliver?

I love the colours used in this set up together too. I knew I definitely wanted to use traditional colours such as the royal blue and the red but I didn’t want to add white and it look more like a coronation set up. That’s why I decided on the white sand shade instead, as it had a ‘teddy bear’ feel about it and also gave the display a more contemporary look.

Overall I am really pleased with how my visions all came together for this set up. Even my handmade bus and did you spot the little touches on the right? There is even a marmalade sandwich. 🙊

If you are a Paddington Bear fan, or know someone who is and would like a set up for a celebration, I would love to help… This theme has to be another of my favourites. 🐻
