🐶 Today is National Puppy Day, so let's see a photo of your puppy or, a photo of when your dog was a puppy ( or just a photo of your dog, we don't mind !) . ❤️ 🍼

❤️ To the left is Clyde at a couple of months, and to the right is Strawberry at about 1.5 years old ( I didn't get her as a pup).

We are so blessed to have two gorgeous dogs to love and care for and we never take it for granted. ❤️

🐾 TICKS - we have found our first one on Clyde.

There is nothing out there, that is totally effective ( not even your vet supplied chemical products, nope! ) so you will need to check your dog daily and remove them carefully as I've detailed below.

🌴 We do not use chemicals on our two, but go with a multi-layered approach using natural products. ❤️

Whatever you do, it's important to be vigilant. 🐕

🐾 Whitmuir is a lovely place to bring your dog, eat some scrummy foods and buy something unique in their shop or even take a look at Quercus for some plants. 🌺 It's a fab place to meet up with friends or family too and drink multiple coffees! 😂

We LOVE it when we find a dog friendly cafe or pub, as we can take our two and we only go where our dogs go..... ❤️

There are also some great walks nearby you can do with your dog 😀🐕.

🐾 We had a few Biggar Hounds join our morning walk today.

😋 Clyde found a deer carcass and ran around with it jangling from his mouth ,delighted with his new toy. He then tried to eat it, so that was a great test of how well we have taught " leave it" - it definitely wasn't an instant drop but we got there!

The rest of the dogs didn't go near the carcass - well done team and Strawbs was on a lead as she's still lame ( or she would have )! 🥴

❤️ Ross builds Malcolm a 'real' bridge to save him from having to be picked up. We're all about promoting independence! 🐾

As you can see, Malcolm is thrilled with it! We are speaking to Malcolm about design improvements and, he has mentioned that it would be nice if we could give it some colour and level it up as he feels it does look a little amateur at the moment. 🐕
