🐾 Today was our August Adventure Walk. These walks are where we take a small group of dogs out for 4-5 hours on a Saturday and have a blast! 💦 🐦 🌴 The dogs get to explore new routes and let off steam and our clients can have the day to themselves! 🚂

🐾These two are on a strict diet to keep them super lean and healthy. 😁👌
The trouble with these two is that they are partial to quite a few foods ( cheese, sandwiches, fruit, raw meat... not fussy!) so they were eyeing up our veg box this morning! I actually felt under pressure to make them a ratatouille or something. 🤣
Well, I offered them a wee cherry tomato each...Rafa was overjoyed as he got to eat Dante's. Dante as it turns out, hates tomatoes, so had a disappointing morning.

🐾❤️On Sunday we attended our first passive scentwork class with Mark Walker Dog Training - Canine Solutions with Clyde and Strawbs.
It was brilliant that two of our clients came along too so we had a class full of Biggar Hounds, who are just the best! ⭐🌟🌟🌟🌟

🥴 Being a Retriever, Strawberry does just that - she retrieves things. Usually it's just the odd tennis ball, glove or pair of pants someone has discarded (as you do). Often, we get animal legs and heads like today. Ross loves these finds! What does your dog bring you as a gift, that you don't really want ? Have you trained your dog to bring you something useful ? 🍃We bought a fan this morning so that our dogs can be super comfortable in the heat. ☀️ On the lowest setting the whole room was being blown about. One of the reviews did say that it was " fantastic in her dance hall" 🤣
☀️It's pretty warm today, so we have Strawbs in the house relaxing with her favourite 'Toppl' by West Paw which you can buy online. Toppl's are treat toys that are designed to be filled with your dogs favourite scrummy treats. You can also stick them in the dishwasher which we think is a bonus! In ours today we have; 🌺 Salmon mousse from Fish for Dogs. 🌺 A raw free range egg. 🌺 Cold pressed kibble ( Strawberry is raw fed) 🌺 Strawberries and blueberries. 🌺 Dried fish skins You can add all sorts of healthy foods to your dogs Toppl ( remember to check what foods are suitable for your dog) which will keep them nice and calm on a hot day and,occupy their brains which will tire them out on days like today when a walk is just too much for them 🐕 https://themuttyprofessor.co.uk/product/zogoflex-toppl/
