And this is why we do it ❤️❤️❤️
These girls are living their best life now.
They came from a very small commercial flock of just 95, but without wonderful rehomers they would not have a future 🥰
These five went to their forever home today but there are still 40 waiting 🥰
Could you give some a home?
Available from Biggin Hill and Horsham ❤️

Meet Bertha the Dorking hen, an older hen showing classic star gazing behaviour.
Star gazing is a type of wry neck and is caused by a lack of vitamin B1 and E (and selenium). It usually responds to vitamin supplementation but recovery can take weeks.
Other types of wry neck (twisted neck) may have causes such as viruses, fungi, bacteria and toxins.
*** Don’t be alarmed by the video, she is responding really well to treatment so it took a while to get a good video of her behaviour ***
In comments there is a video showing her walking normally.
The reason she came to stay is that she also has a crop problem but she has responded to treatment and she will go back to her foster mummy soon 🥰
